As a very careful and introverted person myself, I felt assured when I first met the ladies because they made me feel comfortable and weren't pushy at all. I felt pretty good about going with AHOD because I knew I could trust them, and I was right. I got engaged in July 2017 and got married a year later in July 2018. I probably met with AHOD for the first time in July or August of 2017, so they literally helped me plan from scratch, and I spent a lot of time with them throughout the year. They were very organized and professional with every meeting that we had and made sure that our time was not wasted. What I really love about AHOD is that once they figured out my preferences and budget, they would send me a very organized list of my options (from which they had already researched/worked with). I think I was able to choose something that fit my preference perfectly with every list they gave me. Even in the times that I would respond back slowly or be wishy-washy in what I'd tell them, the ladies were always patient and understanding of my circumstances. I had a Korean, Catholic ceremony for my wedding at my church, and although the planners at AHOD do not speak Korean, they made sure that everything worked out perfectly. I don't have anything to complain about in regards to my wedding ceremony because it turned out just the way I expected. We had our reception at Seventh/Place, and the decorations, table settings, and the whole venue was just BEAUTIFUL, and it was what I had dreamed of. My only complaint about the reception was that the catering company had made some errors, and when I had brought it up to Liz a few weeks after the wedding, she told me that they had already voiced their complaint the night OF the reception. I was so glad when I heard this, and again, this confirmed that they were very professional and responsible. Even after the wedding was over, the ladies at AHOD continued to help me by making sure that I got all my items back and by sending emails on my behalf to some of the other services we had worked with. Thank you Jenn, Liz, and Eryn!

I am writing this 1-star review in an attempt to reach the owner of Dreamwood, as I have a signed…read morecontract with them to photograph and film my upcoming wedding, and I have not received a response from their team in over 50 days despite multiple emails and an attempted phone call. I have seen the owner respond to reviews here, so I am hoping this finally reaches someone who can help. Before explaining what has happened, I want to preface this by saying that I have remained extremely polite and professional throughout this entire process. I understand that wedding season is busy, timelines can shift, and editing takes time. I have tried to give the team every grace possible and have only asked for what was promised in our contract. Here is the timeline of the correspondence: * May 10: Received my engagement gallery with 83 edited photos, despite my contract including 100+ edited photos. * May 11: Expressed appreciation of the engagement photo work but asked if I could review the raw gallery and select additional images to be edited (I felt that was fair since I only received 83). The team was kind in their response and agreed. * May 19: Submitted 23 additional images for editing. * May 20: Received confirmation that my selections had been received and editing would begin. * June 12: Followed up to ask for an estimated timeline after hearing nothing for over three weeks. * June 15: Was told the updated gallery would be delivered "within the next 7 days." * June 22: The promised timeline passed with no additional photos and no communication. * July 9: Sent a follow-up email, explaining I understood it was wedding season and simply requested an update. No response. * July 23: Sent another follow-up, explaining that while I understood delays, communication was especially important since Dreamwood is also photographing and filming our wedding. No response. * July 30: Sent a detailed email to management documenting the timeline and requesting (1) the status of my engagement photos, (2) confirmation that the contracted 100+ edited photos would be delivered, and (3) a clear point of contact moving forward. I requested a response by August 5. * August 6: Still no response. I also called the phone number listed on Dreamwood's website, but it went straight to voicemail, and the mailbox was full, so I couldn't even leave a message. At this point, my biggest concern is no longer the engagement photos. It is that I have an active contract with Dreamwood to photograph and film one of the most important days of my life, yet I cannot get a response from anyone on their team. Every couple gets one wedding day. The moments Dreamwood was hired to capture cannot be recreated, which is why communication and reliability matter just as much as beautiful photographs. I have given the Dreamwood team over 50 days to respond but now I have lost confidence that they will be able to fulfill our wedding contract. And if anyone is wondering, the email communication has 8 people on it, so even if my main point of contact is no longer with the company, there are 7 other people who could respond. I also sent my last email to their main email address on their website, which again, received no response. At this point, I simply want my deposit refunded so that I can find another photographer and videographer who will communicate with us and give us confidence going into our wedding day. I am requesting that the owner of Dreamwood reach out to me.

I had been worried about how my pictures would come out as I am not the best model for pictures. She was friendly, gave great direction and isn't pushy with her ideas. She took many shots and we were able to get some amazing pics, almost as of God himself wanted to be in the picture. She was able to capture my healing technique and people can now feel how peaceful my services make you feel. I hired her another time after this for bio pics, they were just as awesome. The week of the wedding, she executed flawlessly. From vendor coordination to event transitions, everything ran smoothly, and any behind-the-scenes challenges were handled without us ever feeling it. The work you do is so so so impactful. And I'm sure every couple you work with feels the same way. :) Thank you for shepherding us through this process, for your awesome vision and style, for battling every vendor to meet our small but mighty budget, for talking us off a ledge anytime we'd have a mini crashout, and for every other show of effort you gave to us! Also, huge thank you to your team. During the wedding we felt so taken care of, whether it was getting us food, water, holding sunglasses or our phones, or running all the way back to the townhomes just to grab a small item. They were a welcome presence - unobtrusive but thoroughly capturing all of the special moments - sometimes catching things our photography team missed. The final product was absolutely perfect; we love being able to quickly and easily share a shorter version of our special day that nicely sums it up, but still captures the magic. It's a great way for people who weren't there to feel as though they were and, for those of us that were, to relive it. When we finally caught our breath after the wedding, we realized so much had happened that most of it was a blur, so we opted to get an additional longer, chronological version of the footage which Robby and Kimmy were happy to do for us in a clean but complete edit. We love watching this longer format, too! We are forever grateful that our wedding day has been memorialized so beautifully by Hello June Films.
