Friendly, listens to what I have questions about and makes sure that I understand and cares about my medical issues.

The psychiatric side of things is fine. The providers are experienced and always kept me informed…read moreabout the side effects and reasons for medication changes, and treated me as an equal so that I never felt like I was being treated like a child. The counseling side of things is where I drew the line and reconsidered if I would go back. Their intake person (Linda, at the time of my appointment) is the one that initially sees you and decides which counselor would be the best fit for you. I was with her for no more than 20 minutes when she told me that I was a bitch, continued to reiterate the fact that I was a bitch, then told me that I could change my personality to make people listen to me and do what I want (manipulation tactics, I guess). I was there because I had lost a lot of family members to suicide in the past few months and was trying to cope with that and the collapse of some other personal relationships. I'm still trying to figure out what happened at that appointment. I waited a few months and opted to not go back for any appointments, and am looking for a new provider for my medications.

I will start off saying this review is for the company and not the psychiatrists…read more I have been attempting to see a psychiatrist for over 6 months now. I've heard great reviews about the psychiatrists at CCS psychiatry so I really wanted to try there (also, there are not many options around here for med management). I have had 4 separate referrals submitted over the course of these 6 months with ZERO contact from CCS. I have called them each time and they have stated they have either not received it yet or it has not been processed and when it is I will receive a confirmation letter in the mail with my initial visit scheduled. This is an absolutely abysmal business and new management is needed ASAP. It is unacceptable for a business to literally ignore and intentionally lose their potential patient's documents ESPECIALLY in the psychiatric field.

Renee Fagone probably saved my life. I went to doctor after doctor and many didn't care others…read morecared but din't know what was wrong with me. She got me on the proper meds! She was always polite and caring. I have userative colits and was treated with prednisone for 2 yrs. Then I had osteoporosis "because of the prednisone" and on boniva for the osteoporosis for 5yrs. Also high blood pressure and very high cholesterol. The kind that would kill you. PTSD . And diabetes. My doctors didn't belive I had diabetes because my blood sugar was low, "A1C" was always normal. But I was always complaining about hypoglycemia attacks. One time it went down to 35. And my doctor said low blood sugar is a good thing. That's when I started looking for another doctor. My A1C was low because of the hypoglycemia attacks. I told every doctor about all my problems. Finally one doctor"who moved away" sent me to a endocrinologist before he left the area. Then the endocrinologist also left. This is when I went to Renee Fogone got everything straightened out and now she left. Oh she also got my lungs checked out and I have COPD and emphysema. I also forgot I have dementia. LOL I'm taking something for that too now. If your having health issues keep changing doctors until you find some one that will help you. I struggled with this stuff for 20 some years. Most of the doctors out there suck!
