Cinnamon did my photos and it's OBVIOUS she has decades of experience. Her personality was so vibrant but calming. The first questions she asked were about my comfort level, what I was ok with showing and not ok with showing. Asked a lot of questions about what my goal for the shoot would be. It made me feel very safe and comfortable. She had me get in my first outfit and pointed out things I never would have thought of like deodorant on my underarms. She gave clear direction on posing and made the whole process so much fun. I forgot I was there for a photoshoot. It seemed effortless for her. She took time after my shoot to answer any questions I had about the next steps in the process. After the shoot I got the edited photos 3 days later which is a crazy turn around time. The album came with very clear instructions on how to view and select photos or packages for purchase. I was also given multiple reminders to make my selections before the cut off time which my ADHD brain really appreciated. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone looking for this type of shoot and will probably book in the future.

Valerie is also very witty and has a style of humor where she's super quirky, but in a good way that makes you feel less shy and self conscious when you're taking photos and more willing to express your true self during the photoshoot. Her rate is also incredibly reasonable and competitive! Besides being an awesome photographer, Valerie is also really great in helping you with bridesmaid tasks during the wedding. This includes helping you with bustling your dress, carrying your gown train around, securing your veil to the back of your head, or pining boutonnières on for your parents/wedding party members. I was especially grateful for her in doing all the boutonnière pinnings as I had no idea how to do that and definitely did not want the added stress of trying to figure it out on the day of. One tip that I suggest when taking your engagement or wedding photos is to have some ideas of poses you want or have a list of the specific sites you want to take pictures at your wedding venue. I regret not doing this as, after the wedding, we realized there were a couple places we wish we had taken more photos at. Additionally, our wedding photos had many similar poses sprinkled throughout and I wish I had researched/looked at more wedding photos in general to get ideas of what other poses we could've done. However, considering how much details are involved in weddings, these are sort of just "cherry on the top" stuff which would've been nice to have but aren't deal breakers. I don't know if this place went from people picture to people place if that's the name now she said she was the owner when I asked her for her name because I didn't get any good response from her. She was distracted by her son or grandson. She didn't asked any more questions and started walking away . It just seemed that she was rushing me out /getting rid of me. I had my baby with me and I was ready to take pictures. Her name is Laura. I think that's what she said and if you are really the owner of this place, you need to get more customer service practice because you lack that a lot no wonder your place is always empty. I used to go to this place all the time since my daughters were born. I used to be named differently and then it became people Picture and now is people place. I will not return to this place for your lack of customer service and discrimination that's how I felt.
