Sicilian (Square) with Pepperoni and Pineapple

Fridays night takeout pizza! Tried the Sicilian Square pie with pepperoni and pineapple toppings and it was solid but feel like it needed more seasoning or different toppings. Still great pizza!

    Pasta di Napoli was DELICIOUS.

Man. Yelp got this one right. Looked for a pizza joint and the reviews were spot on. This place has the hook. Sitting inside, the number of pies going out the door upped the excitement factor. My son got a white pizza and it was fantastic. Cheese pull. The ricotta was so pretty. Almost too pretty to eat. The pasta di Napoli was stunningly good. Rich, hot, flavorful. So tasty. This was the star and my son said, "I should have gotten that, too." So we split it. Amazing job. Do NOT pass this pie shop up.

    Penne Vodka (Large) Pizza

Went in after gameday on a Sunday, waited inside for the pie, took about 15 minutes. Pizza was good and cheaper than other spots but not that well seasoned. Restaurant had a lot of spooky decorations and the tv had a purple distortion.

Ordered an exaggerated amount of pizzas and wings for a house warming party and they were a hit! Pizza 4/5: went with the classic pepperoni and cheese slices. Nice crispy undercarriage and crust. Sauce was good not overwhelming, pepps were tasty. Would've liked a bit less oil, so I could scarf more slices down. Wings 5/5: wow! I really liked these buffalo wings. Perfectly sized, very mild heat, great for heavy consumption. Would return to try other pizza flavors and get more wings.

Chicken Caesar Panini with side of Potato Salad, which apparently cost $3 extra WHAT.

I've been here twice, first time getting pizza as our first meal after moving to Hoboken and second time getting a panini and sandwich for a midweek work lunch. The food hits the spot every time, and I'd rate Napoli's a solid 4 or 5 stars. However, the second time when we ordered the panini and sandwich for lunch, we got upcharged $3. When we asked why, the cashier said because the panini doesn't come with the option for a potato salad, which is the side I chose, so they charged us $3 extra. However, their menu (and chownow online ordering) clearly states that paninis come with a side of potato or macaroni salad. I was infuriated. We thought okay maybe it comes in a larger container so maybe $3 isn't so bad... we get home and it's a tiny tiny container, like the one you put takeout sauce in. I was infuriated and probably won't be coming back anytime soon. Check your receipts, folks!

Penne Vodka Pizza & Eggplant Parmesan Pizza
    Dhruti T.

My friend and I couldn't decide between the penne vodka pizza or the eggplant parm so we decided to get a large pie with half of each. The crust was perfect and the toppings were generously applied. The ricotta and mozzarella tasted fresh and delicious. We got the pizza to go so I can't speak to dine in service but everyone was polite when I went in to get my pie. The place seemed busy and it's byob so it would be fun to dine in next time!

Why are the pizzas chewy. Why is the garlic bread a chewy loaf? Maybe take the train to ny and learn something

Authentic Italian... As long as you order their homemade pasta. Please note that on the menu they have a specific section for the pasta they make by hand and the pasta they do not. I heard a table next to us saying something again to the positive taste homemade but they ordered from a section where it didn't say it was lol. What makes this place great is you can pretty much make whatever kind of dish you want when it comes to the pasta. They offer a variety of sauces as well. Surprisingly on this night, I wasn't very hungry and I ended up only getting their soup, which was also delicious. The chicken franchise was delicious, as well as the eggplant Parmesan. However, looking around at the restaurant, I can see the winner is the chicken Parmesan and the muscles. They seem to be very popular dishes. Not only is the food here great, but it is affordable. The only mention I will make as a knock against it is it gets extremely loud in there. This is not somewhere you want go for a date... Or if you intend on talking to anyone you're eating with and hearing what they have to say haha. That's only for the indoor section though. I'm sure outdoor is less intense with the sound. We will definitely be back!

Linguine and clams was so bad it was pretty much inedible. Burnt garlic taste and almost no clams, couldn't find them, awful, like a 1 from 1-10 THE GOOD: Artichoke hearts francaise were good, but a small portion relative to the price Halibut with burnt butter was tasty. Again just beware, a high price point for this dish. Shrimp marinara fra Diablo was definitely spicy and was solid. It would be ideal if there was more pasta though, so make sure to request that (although you really shouldn't have to) Pasta w/ shrimp/clams/mussels was good THE DRINK: Can't remember the wine, but the Negroni before dinner wasn't good, and seemed like someone didn't measure, but free poured

We also tried the special fried calamari & arugula salad, rigatoni carbonara ( basically Alfredo) and the veal parm. They split everything for us, which was really nice. I…read morehad been eager to try their pies, as well as their full meals, but only just made it to their dimly lit, hip and happening main dining room. The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

I was a big fan of both, especially the ricotta, which was so incredibly creamy. For the mains, everyone's fresh-made pasta was excellent. I ordered the Mexican street corn, which was unique, flavorful, and delicious. I also tried some of the spicy rigatoni and loved it. We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. Ultimately, they weren't able to recover it, but the food itself was still outstanding.
