After five minutes, was told to wait some more. Five more minutes and was told that they would make my pizza for me. I complained that they should offer me more compensation than just saying sorry. They said I can cancel my order, if I prefer. So, I cancelled my order and my future relationship with Napoli's. Too bad, because their pizza is good. read more

Pretty impressed with Napoli's. For some reason it took me a while to order from here, but once I did, I have now made it my go-to pizza delivery spot in Hoboken. Awesome that they let you customize your pizzas by the half pie, and their variety of toppings is legit. Try the vodka sauce chicken parm pie, or their barbecue chicken. Or go simple and get a regular pie with sausage. They have a lot of options and their personal pie fills you up unlike some other places in town. If I could give 0 stars I would. Napoli's used to be my go to spot for ordering as their food is delicious however I'm completely fed up with them after my experience this evening. Called and ordered and was told 20-30 mins initially . 2 hours later and several calls telling us our order was " on the way" multiple times and still nothing was received. We had somewhere to be and were sitting around waiting for this order as it was already placed. Had we known the wait was going to be so long, we absolutely would have picked up or went somewhere else. Once finally received, you guessed it! The order was ice cold. I would say this place is kind of hit or miss. The first time we ate there we had the bruschetta pizza and it was amazing but despite assurances that the marinara for our garlic knots was in the bag it was not. On our second trip we got half chicken bruschetta and a half chipotle chicken bacon ranch. Again, it was excellent and the service was great! The waitress was very attentive, very friendly and very helpful with the menu. On my third visit we got a pepperoni pizza and it was just OK. The garlic knots did have the marinara sauce this time though. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for pizza but I would say choose one of the specialty pies, which are amazing. oh, and make sure to check your order if you're doing takeout. read more

What a cute place! Very nice outdoor set up and indoor is just as cozy. Ordered two personal pizzas to go though but wow these bad boys are huge! Love that you can watch your pizza being made in the brick oven in the back. I didn't realize you can buy by the slice but glad to know that option exist. I was told my order would take 20 minutes but it took less, yay! Had the personal Ciao Bello - half olive oil half with sauce and bbq chicken pizza . I felt the crust of the pizzas were a tad too doughy and not like my favorite NY style thin light cripsy crust. However, the ingredients are so fresh and yummy! My fav was the bbq chicken pizza. Just wow. I really can't believe these are personal pizzas lol so generous with toppings and I'm stuffed with just two slices and plenty left over. Yet another BYOB favorite. On the recommendation of a friend, my boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night with a bottle of wine. After much consideration, back and forth, and debate, we decided on a large pie half zucchini primavera, half penne vodka. All I have to say is *kisses fingers while very dramatically saying muah* it was magnifico. The crust was soft and burnt just enough. The sauce on the Zucchini Primavera was delicious and the mozzarella was not gloobby, as it can be when the cheese isn't over the entire pie. The Penne Vodka was also incredible and the call to add sausage to it was my boyfriends call and one I will only admit was a good one here, on Yelp, where my secrets are safe...We got the Clams Oreganata as an appetizer and, although tasty, it was nothing special and I probably wouldn't order it a second time. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive and did not SEEM to mind at all that we took forever to order. Really, it was forever... But with so many insanely delicious looking specialty pies, we couldn't decide for the life of us. So happy we gave this place a shot because I am very confident it will be our new go to pizza spot. I first had their linguini with clams and white wine sauce in 2019 when I was in NJ for the holidays. Fast foward to 2023 and I am back in NJ again. I literally could not stop thinking abou that dish since 2019. Living in Southern California it hasn't been the easiest thing to find this dish of this caliber. Sauce and cheese on top was tasty. The eggplant parmigiana was good but the spaghetti had a very acidic sauce, and it was bland. The hot wings came soggy and not crunchy whatsoever. Such yummy pizza and great service! I was in the Hoboken area and was craving pizza around 5 PM on a Saturday, so decided to stop in to try this place. I heard Hoboken has some good pizza places, so I had some high expectations and it definitely didn't disappoint! I got 2 slices: the penne vodka and Sicilian. Maybe it was the hunger talking, but I looooved the Sicilian. Definitely gives NYC pizza a run for their money. Note that the penne vodka is also different from the vodka - I managed to get the one with pasta on the slice. Currently, they have outdoor & indoor dining and takeout (not sure about delivery). For restaurant service, the outside is beautifully decorated with a pretty patio, red tables, and flowers. The inside is so cool with all these different signs and probably a sports game. They also sell pizza by the slice which is what I got. Overall I really like this place, would recommend, and will be returning! read more

Very rude staff, constantly messing up orders tried to give them a few chances as they're a local places . Deliveries take forever. Called to get an order corrected as they messed it up and was told they couldn't do anything and hung up on. Came here at 9Pm on a Friday night for a party of two. We ordered half penne vodka and half veggie primavera. They messed up and gave us half margarita and not penne vodka. So it took another 20 min for them to get the other made. In that time we were starving and just kept eating. They said we wouldn't be charged twice. Sure enough we get the bill and we were charged twice. The server advocates for us and tried to get the manager to remove it. But the manager apparently felt because it was received that we should be charged? They never offered to take away the margarita slices and explicitly said it was on them. So they gave us a 5$ discount on a 25$ pizza that should have been complimentary. The pizza is good but that is horrid service. There is more than enough pizza places to go to in Hoboken. Love our server she was amazing. As for the customer service of the manager.... I think I'll pass. read more

Napoli's is my favorite pizza in Hoboken currently. Their Margherita pie is dynamite but I love coming in and just grabbing a slice from what they out on display. This Chipotle Chicken Bruschetta slice isn't what I normally go for in pizza but dang is it tasty! The Buffalo chicken pizza is great as well and the people are always super friendly at the Clinton street location. A great BYO Italian spot to come with great outdoor seating for the warmer months. Pizza and wings are always solid. The main issue I have with the downtown location is the dining room. Whoever decided that they could replace a second set of doors with a curtain, should be fired. Got takeout from this local pizza spot for the first time and was very happy with my meal! We ordered a vodka penne pie with pepperoni and breaded chicken. They are very generous with portion size and amount of toppings. Loved the thick cut pepperoni. They used fresh mozz not just the normal shredded mozzarella which we definitely appreciated. The only thing I will note is I typically expect vodka pies to be saucy and it's how I prefer it, however this vodka pie was definitely on the drier side so there wasn't a distinct vodka taste. We only had a few days in Hoboken and if we would have stayed longer I can guarantee that we would have ate here for sure several times. The pizza was to die for. Now THIS place is amazing! We came here at about 5:45PM, and I must say, I was a little worried, because it was totally empty. Me and my 3 friends ordered 2 large pizzas: one chicken parm pizza and the other one was half meat lovers and half bruschetta pizza. All of them were really really good! The chicken parm one had big dollops of ricotta cheese, which was yummy, and the meat lovers was tasty as well...but oh man, the BRUSCHETTA PIZZA was one of the best pizzas I've ever had...the sauce on it was good to the last bite! This is considered to be one of the beat pizzerias in Hoboken, yet I've lived here for almost three years and never tried it...until last night. I ended up ordering a personal pizza with two specialty flavors: half spinach and artichoke (white) and half eggplant parm (red). Delivery was very quick, definitely under "30 minutes or less." The presentation of the pizza itself was pretty, but you didn't quite know where certain flavors stopped and others began, but maybe that's part of the fun. Generally, the pizza is standard for a Jersey pie: crust that's the perfect hybrid of chewy, soft and a little bit crunchy, rich sauce (creamy with the white sauce and great acidity on the red sauce), and strong flavors that showcase every single topping. However, I did like the spinach and artichoke slices over the eggplant parm ones. The spinach and artichoke slice tasted like a homemade dip spread all over pizza crust. You get great flavor from the garlic, creaminess saltiness from the cheese, and good texture and color from the veggies. As for the eggplant parm, it had rich sauce and perfect eggplant pieces (both in terms of breadedness and overall flavor), but I would've liked less ricotta cheese, which, while presented prettily, made the slice too heavy and too rich. All that said, I'd definitely eat from here again, but maybe try a classic slice? read more

But the clam linguine was a 10/10!!! Excellent!! Highly recommend!! The clams were a perfect size. You get a good portion of pasta. The linguine sauce was not too runny and not too thick.
