The bulk of planning our girls wine getaway fell to me, and the one thing I did not want to do was drive. My friend recommended Brad as she'd used this service for her prior trips. I kept forgetting to call and lo and behold time snuck up on us. I called about 2 weeks in advance and luckily Brad was able to accommodate us. Brad pays attention to detail. He saw our original list and asked if it'd be ok to set up a more curated tour of the smaller wineries and I'm so glad we followed his advice. He set up an amazing itinerary and I discovered two absolutely stunning wineries (MacRostie, Aonair & Amizetta)! Had we gone the commercial winery route we'd have missed out on some great places. He also scheduled lunch for us and kept us on track. The lunches were delicious by the way. His knowledge of the area led to some stunning views and he took us to places with amazing wines and equally important, amazing hosts. He set everything up for us (reservations & food) and we were so thrilled to see personalized menus at some of the wineries. He also paid such attention to our lunches and made sure the locations he chose provided a serene and calm experience. He's also great company and we had many laughs with him. We wanted to make a change the day of and he was accommodating, although we ended up sticking to the itinerary. He also took great photos of us which he sent to us right away. Brad is prompt, courteous and professional. You really can't go wrong with planning a wine trip with him! He'll also let you choose the soundtrack while driving, I might have scared him a bit with Rudimental :). The funniest part of our trip came when we were leaving a winery and we saw Brad dusting the car. We teased him endlessly over that. We were referred to Brad by our favorite winery, Amizetta, and we were not disappointed. For my wife's birthday, I had planned to take her and our friends wine tasting. He took us to 4 private tastings, which is a VERY full day and he helped us pull it off without a hitch. I've had quite a few different drivers take us tasting over the years and Brad was the best. Here's some of the reasons why: - He knows when to jump in and help and when to hang back and let us enjoy our tasting. Some drivers are too pushy, some are not pushy enough, some even invite themselves to join your group for tasting tours and lunch (which is always awkward), but Brad had the perfect mix. - He made sure we were at our next appointments, on-time.. - He knew we had a packed schedule, so he brought a menu from an awesome nearby lunch spot (that we weren't aware of), took our orders and ran and got our lunch while we were tasting. - He was happy, energetic, courteous and professional. - He made sure we didn't miss the perfect picture spots at each winery.. then he took the pics and enhanced them and texted them to us (while we were tasting). - When a member of our group forgot something in his car, he went out of his way to meet back up with us after the tour, to get us the missing items. Our group of four hired Brad for a day of wine touring and tasting. We left the selection of locations up to Brad with a big of info on the types of wines we enjoy. We visited three vineyards and we thoroughly enjoyed each one. We began the day picking up a picnic lunch at a fabulous deli that Brad stopped at. We headed to Clif Family first and had an amazing tasting with Tom, who told us the history of Clif Family wines and prepared some delicious food to accompany the tasting. Next we visited Amazetta with its amazing views and enjoyed our picnic while tasting the delicious wines. Finally on to Aonair for a tasting which entailed a great tour of the property. I hired Brad for my wife's 50th birthday celebration and he was nothing short of amazing. He communicated with me beforehand and asked our wine preferences and what types of wineries we preferred. He then set up tours at four boutique wineries, all specializing in Cabernet and Cabernet blends. Our favorites were Caspar Estates and Amizetta. He also packed an incredible lunch. Was super excited about this since I had read a couple shining reviews about Napa Your Way. Honestly I wasn't sure what to think since all photos online looked like outtakes from an episode of Jersey Shore and Brad Sr. eerily resembles Chris Harrison from the Bachelor. The wine tasting aspect was actually quite good- had some seriously good vino so I'll give them that. Unfortunately I was less than impressed with the son and overly confident, Brad Jr. His driving was a little questionable (He was on his phone a lot) and made my wife and I feel slightly uncomfortable at times with never ending banter about fitness when we really just wanted a relaxing day together. You're better off seeing Napa "your own way" and renting a car than listening to Brad Jr go on and on about his two-a-days. That kid needs to eat a doughnut and shut up already. SO Thankful that I came across "Napa Your Way" before my last minute trip to Napa! I've never been able to plan a last minute- short trip successfully and without the help from Brad (owner of NYW), I wouldn't have been able to pull this off. My boyfriend had been working so many hours a day and night and was long overdue for a getaway like this one so when he gave me the heads up to make arrangements for a 48 hour trip (including flight and drive) I was excited... and panicked. After giving myself anxiety and terrible stress over picking out what tours to go to, where to eat, where to stay and what to do by reading tons of reviews- I wasn't excited anymore :/ It really sucked the fun out of my bucket list trip for me. Then i was referred to "Napa Your Way" and I was able to forget about the stress of the planning as Brad assured me that he would take care of my itinerary and plan the day after asking a couple of questions about our wine preferences. My bf and I are HUGE drinkers and I should point out that we weren't going to be in Napa until early afternoon which wasn't easy to plan around since most tastings and tours end at 5 or 6pm and we wanted to get the most out of that time! By most, I mean drunk. Just kidding. No, i'm not- we were very concerned!! With that said, Brad was able to plan around our crazy schedule and took us to wonderful local wineries and one major one. All of which were able to poor heavily, educate us on wine and keep us entertained. Brad did such a good job in relieving the stress and making sure that our short trip was perfect! I've been to Napa too many times to count, but this was the first time we went with a wine 'tour' (if you can call it that -- it's more like a personalized service with someone so kind & welcoming you'll think of him as a friend!). This Is It! No Need to Research Any Longer! We were planning a surprise Napa trip for our friend's 50th birthday and found Napa Your Way via TripAdvisor and Yelp. From the beginning, Brad and Liesl were easy to work with and listened to our every need. They even helped to arrange airport pick-up and drop off for us-Champagne and all. Brad guided us through a fantastic day of excellent winery tours, each with its own unique setting. He ended the day at a winery that made the birthday girl's favorite type of wine, which left her dancing among the barrels! He took photos throughout the day and shared them immediately with us. Our picnic lunch from Oakville Grocery at Alpha Omega Winery, tablecloth and all, was picture perfect. He even included a cake for the birthday girl! On the drive in between wineries, Brad had the perfect playlist which got us rocking out to a variety of tunes-old and new. The SUV we traveled in during our tour was stocked with cold water and was extremely clean. Brad helped us manage all the bottles of wine we purchased along the way (he also reminded us to hydrate). His personality made us very comfortable all while staying extremely professional. I would absolutely and highly recommend Napa Your Way and will certainly use Napa Your Way next time we come out to visit. I wish I could give Napa Your Way more stars. Brad and Liesl were beyond great and went the extra mile to make my day extra special. I found them on Trip Advisor, and reached out to A LOT of other companies that offer the same services, many "ranked" above them. Most of the companies are pretty standard in terms of base service they offered (drive us around to a few wineries throughout the day), and most pricing was in the same ballpark. However, Brad and Liesl blew the competition out of the water when it came to timely responses and communication, and going the extra mile for me. I told them from the get-go that this was very important to me, as I was going to propose to my now girlfriend. This is what made the timely responses and communication so important, as they planned such a great day for me, and I was very picky about it. They gave me a few great options of where I could pop the question, and provided a beautiful picnic lunch and bottle of sparkling wine after. Brad even offered up to take some pics to capture the best moment of my life so far! Outside of all that, Brad was just a cool guy to hang around with all day, and picked out some great spots to make my day extra special.
