If you're in the same boat, I suggest you contact Joanna Baumeister at A+ Benefits Group. I may have gotten her name from NextDoor last year but at that time, it didn't make sense for us to make any changes, however, she did suggest my hubby get one medication at Costco using GoodRx and that brought the price down from $125/month to $49/month for that one drug! A little background: I am self-insured (too young for SS - but not for long!) My insurance is expensive. Hubby is on Medicare and had has a separate drug plan and of course his supplemental policy. We also buy dental insurance for both of us. After spending roughly an hour on the phone with Joanna and providing her with some information about current medications, coverage and premiums, she came back to us with solid recommendations regarding our dental plan and hubby's drug plan and all told, we will save at least $500 annually. Since I am always quick to complain about poor service, I also want to share when I feel impressed with good service. Joanna is so easy to work with and explains everything in detail. Even if you decide not to make a change, you should give Joanna a call and have a review with her. As I said, we took time with her last year and I never felt pressed to make a change then and we didn't change anything. But, I vowed to have a review with her again this year (and we will do so every year going forward). So glad I did. If you call her, please let her know you read my review. I love to support local businesses and I believe A+ is worthy of your time.
