I receive a monthly massage at a good price and it has been very refreshing and rejuvenating. I have gone to many other massage places... Nani Massage has been the best to date. I workout regularly which includes lots of cycling and running. There is much variety in the types of massages and add-ons to choose. The advanced massage table is not atypical and has proven to work wonderfully leading to a nice massage experience every session. My mom (who has been a member for a couple of years) gave me a groupon for 2 60 min massages. She said I could book a 2 hour massage or break it up. When I called to book my appointment, I was not told I had to use it all or lose my 2nd hour. My therapist, Beth was very skilled and physically felt great upon leaving. She talked through the appointment even though my card said I didnt want to talk. Also, she used too much pressure, even asking her to lighten up. The only negatives were being heavily pushed to purchase a member package and not being able to schedule a 2nd appointment to use the 2nd hour. Not sure if I will go back. read more

I am an avid Grouponer and have gotten most massages offered on Groupon. This one is by FAR the best, and one of very few places I'd pay full price to visit! Nani is clean, efficient, and unique. It's easy to get on their schedule, as they have a convenient online scheduling form and lots of massage therapists. The best part about Nani is their unique concept: massage beds are large and sunken into big platforms, so the therapist is on the client's level and able to use their whole body to give the best possible massage. I know this sounds strange, but you've got to try it. My most recent massage therapist told me that this concept was developed by Nani's owner; not positive of this is true, but I've definitely never encountered it elsewhere. I've never gotten a bad massage here, but the best was from Chelsea. I highly recommend scheduling with her. Also, do look for a Groupon, but Nani also does great promos if you join their email list. Their membership is also a great deal; you can get a monthly massage with lots of add-ons for $60/ $70ish a month. read more

My boyfriend and I had booked a couples massage from the groupon package. The deal itself on groupon is a good deal. They were very accommodating anytime I had to reschedule (We had to book very far out almost 2 mo. due to so many appts). The staff was nice and polite. The massage was NOT RELAXING. My masseuse was SICK. Coughing, hacking, sniffling. It was disgusting. Not relaxing at all. It felt so uncomfortable. She would stop often to cough and her coughing were more like fits that took up decent amount of time. I wanted my back touched on however, they barely focus on your back. (My boyfriend claimed the same thing), they also do this thing where they shake your limbs and pull your arms. Mine was uncomfortable because even though I do like a medium firm massage, that does not mean you should shake my leg so hard I feel like my blanket is about to fall off and expose me or dislocate my shoulder. Also, there was POP MUSIC PLAYING. What? Isn't this supposed to be relaxing, not dance class. The room was not dimly lit. I had to ask for something to cover my eyes when I flipped over because the light was directly on my eyes. The room was extremely cold and the blankets were very thin. The massage experience was just so uncomfortable. My boyfriend did not have many complaints about his therapist, he prefers a very gentle touch. She was gentle. He did however feel the same way about the ambiance. It was not relaxing and the sick employee was very distracting and made me feel very gross. I instantly went home to shower because I was afraid of getting sick. It's the day after - so if I get sick I will definitely be contacting that company. read more

We had a terrible experience with this place.. bought a couples massage Groupon and scheduled an appointment- drove 25 minutes to get there and waited for half an hour then were told that the masseuse had an appointment at another location so they offered to comp our massage and reschedule. GREAT! Our massage was rescheduled for 8am this morning and when we were 10 minutes away they called us saying they had to cancel AGAIN. Getting our refund and not even bothering rescheduling for a free massage. Now we have another inconvenience of getting our own refund through Groupon. Love this place. I know Matthew (Dr. Roth) and Nancy through the chiropractor practice. That's when I first came across Nancy and her style of massage. So different and so effective for what I needed - even if it changes every time. What I love most is that it is so tailored to your needs and they will really work out the kinks. I signed for membership about 2 weeks ago, but realized it's not a good time and need to cancel. when calling to cancel the person who answers the phone says I must come into the office to sign papers. Doesn't allow the papers I need to sign to be emailed to me- making is difficult to cancel the membership. I will be extremely hesitant to re-sign up to membership in the future- which was my original plan. read more

After many challenges scheduling a couple's massage for a groupon I purchased, I finally was able to get an appointment. The massage was great. The therapists were very nice and did a great job. I can see why this place has such great reviews, though I would highly recommend that you not attempt a couples massage (in fact they told me they were getting rid of them because they have had such a hard time scheduling them). You can schedule an individual massage on their website so it's easy to find a time that works, so you'll be much happier going that route. read more

I wanted a relaxation massage and the experience was below my expectations. The room was not dimly lit, music was too loud and 90s songs were playing and though I signed up for limited conversation the girl kept on talking too much. She asked me my background, I'm Asian, and kept on asking me questions about it and even said my English was good, which I didn't feel was necessary for her to say. I felt very uncomfortable. Also, I noticed oils stains on the white sheet before I got in and so that made me think it wasn't clean and so It felt unsanitary. I will not be going back. It was not a pleasant experience. I also think massage therapist should dress more professionally vs wearing workout clothes at the time of providing massage services. read more

I had purchased a Groupon for Nani Massage as a gift for someone else. I found out that the person whom I gifted this to had to make over 10 inquiries in an effort to schedule a massage (yes, over 10)... Next this customer went Nani to get a massage, and they told them that they could not use the Groupon as they had previously been to Nani several for years prior as a customer. So they insisted that the customer pay full price ($85) for a 60 minute massage. They ended up paying the full rate and received the massage. My issue here is that this is no way to run a business, the person received this as a gift from someone who had never been a customer. They were told that the gift they received would not be accepted. I was baffled when I found out the representative treated a paying customer in this way. My advice would be to stay away far away from this place, as they don't seem to have the bandwidth to service their customer, and they need to learn to treat paying customers with respect instead of trying to scheme them into paying for a full massage. read more

The massages are good, however, customer service has declined. I have been a VIP member for a couple of years. I called in to freeze my account for two months since I will be traveling extensively. I didn't want to have massages accumulate as credits because it's already difficult to get in with the masseuse I prefer as it is, even though I book ahead. They now want to charge you $ to freeze your account. They suggested instead I come in and cancel my account. The team lead on the phone explained to me they will still charge me for this month as it takes 30 days to cancel. Now we all know it doesn't. It doesn't take 30 days to sign up---as my membership fee came out pretty quickly. I asked to speak to a manager, and have been waiting over a week---no call. So I guess I'll go back to Hand and Stone where I can choose a massage or a facial monthly vs. being a "VIP" member here, since VIP doesn't really mean anything to Nani anymore. They used to be so much better about taking care of repeat customers. Oh and if you're a VIP, you pay more than what the new rate is for others signing up ($10 less per month) #disappointed read more

However, after having appointments cancelled several times this became more stressful than relaxing. I had a monthly membership that I've twice cancelled because of terrible customer service and yet not one call asking me why or would I come back. I had my first, but certainly not last, massage with Brian earlier today. After easy check-in, I was able to share my pain points (lifting weights, poor mobility). Brian's deep tissue technique was very effective. He was able to remove painful knots in my neck and traps that had been bothering me for months. Nani seems to be the best around for price and quality of service. I have been trying to replace them since my favorite therapist left and have not been able to. The reception crew is friendly, efficient and professional. The setting is quiet and relaxing and I have had two excellent massages by Larissa and Emily. Going back to a traditional table and leaving the Nani full-size platform would be tough. It's a must if you haven't tried it. read more

My boyfriend got me a 1 hour massage for my birthday at Nani and it was a great and necessary gift! I love getting massages and have been to numerous places in the past and Nani is definitely became one of my favorites. Service was courteous, friendly and fast. It was a different experience since they don't actually use massage beds, and instead use a platform to lay on. I think this works way better because it allows the masseuse to put more pressure on your body. I told the masseuse my problem areas (neck, shoulder, lower back) and she really made sure to focus on those areas. In the end, I came out of there feeling like a new person! They even hooked me up with exercise and stretching techniques to do that focused on my problem areas. read more

I was very pleased with my first massage, enough to buy a membership. The physical environment was relaxing and my therapist was pretty aggressive both with pressure and in identifying my tightest muscles. This has been helpful as far as knowing which muscles to keep stretching to facilitate continued healing until my next appointment. Found out about this place thanks to a Groupon and WOW! I have been to many different massage places in my day and this was the BEST! Even better than fancy spas. The concept here is different. Upon walking into the waiting room you instantly feel relaxed. It is very aesthetically pleasing. There is cucumber water while you wait. In the room there is a pleasing calming scent. They do not use the standard massage table, but instead a massage platform which I really liked. I think it allows the therapist to get better angles on you as well. My therapist truly gave me the best most relaxing and helpful massage. Not a minute of it was painful or even uncomfortable. She asked questions about my habits, and possible previous injuries that she could clearly sense from tension or crepitus. She gave me recommendations to help my painful and tense areas moving forward which was awesome! I cant wait to go back, like I seriously think about it every day now when I'm stressed or sore. Love. Absolutely do not go here. I purchased a groupon to here to try this place out. I get massages all of the time and I saw this deal so I figured I'd give them a shot. Well when I told the First Lady that I had a groupon her tone of voice changed. Anyways, I had my appointment on a Saturday and they called me the morning of and told me that the lady who was doing my massage had a family emergency and I had to reschedule. I get it, stuff happens so I rescheduled the next day. Next day comes and they call me the morning of again and tell me the guy who was massaging me gets ran off the road by a semi and have to push me back 30 mins. So whatever stuff happens. I get it pushed back 30 mins and then they call me back again saying that they have to completely reschedule me for another day. If you want good service here, I'd suggest that you don't buy the Groupon that they offer because no one wants to do it. I figured they offer me something else especially after I told them I can't make it throughout the week but no. I looked at other reviews and found some that state similar things with Groupons. DO NOT. Give them your business. There are way better place that know how to run their business to get new customers in the door!! read more

It was my first massage ever, and long deserved. I was a little nervous going in, because I had little idea of what to expect. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The place is super fancy, really clean--I loved the environment. Chelsey, my masseuse, was friendly and did exactly the amount of pressure I wanted. Worst massage I have ever had! My husband and I got a couples massage, before we went back they had us fill out a card stating what areas we wanted worked on, as most places do... I checked the box for back pain and circled the lower back on the diagram, when we got back to the room the therapists asked what areas we wanted focus on and I said my lower back. Two days earlier I had been bothering me so bad I could hardly walk and I had been looking forward to this to help .Not once, and I'm not exaggerating, not once did he touch my lower back. He would grab a hold of my limbs and shake them, roughly. I understand trying to loosen someone up but that is not relaxing at all and then he kept repeatedly telling me i needed to relax... He spent maybe a quarter of the time on my back side, my husband was just flipping over and he had already made it all the way back up to my shoulders on my front side. He was yawning the entire time which I know you can only help so much but it was kind of rude and made me feel like I was bothering him. I think he finally realized he had some time still to kill so instead of flipping me back over and working on areas I had asked for he spent at least 15 mins rubbing the front of my neck and pushing on pressure points. He was rubbing the front of my throat so hard that it was causing me to cough. If this "massage" had gone on any longer I would have probably sat up and just asked him to stop. At one point he even asked if something was wrong because I was fidgeting so much, I was obviously not conformable or happy by this point. My husband's massage seemed to be a lot better than mine. The therapist did at least try to focus on the areas he had asked for although he said he was pressing so hard he felt like he was being tortured the entire time and that was with picking a 6 out of 10. I would not suggest this place to anyone that I know. read more
