    Patty melt and fries
    Mark D.

Stopped in for a snack and decided to split a Patty Melt and was initially unsure of what to try. We made a good choice and even though the Patty Melt was good, the fries were some of the best I've had. Seasoned and crispy. I would go back for just the fries. Looking forward in trying something else

I've lived in this area for 20+ years and have always seen Nancy's Cafe but never had an opportunity to stop in as there are a couple other diner places we frequent in the area. One of those places was closed this past Sunday so we stopped in here to give them a try. Wow, great food, very reasonable prices with stellar services. Staff were friendly, made great recommendation.. and those hash browns asked to be crispy... they definitely delivered. Food and service - definitely 5 stars. Took off 1 star for the very humbling dining room and lumpy booth seat... I had the steak and eggs, and rarely do I get a steak done to the correct temp at a diner but Nancy's nailed it. The pancakes were soft centered with crispy edges and I have a thing about syrups, they should come warm and happy to see they didn't just put the plastic bottles in warm water and actually took the time to put it in a stainless steel dispenser. I'm always torn for places like this that has carpet in their dining room as I know it can get slippery if they had bare floor... but try to focus on how the tables/chairs were clean and the food is tasty. Will be back again and Nancy's is no longer on the back up list. What a gem!

This is their delicious omelette with Swiss cheese, avocado and bacon, side of cottage cheese instead of toast or pancakes. Wonderful!

Have stopped here a couple of times when I need to get away from my office. I guess this is a dive, meaning that some of the upholstery is torn and nothing has been to modernize the decor. But the clientele seem to be regulars and very friendly. And they put out some good food! Also, friendly service, food comes out quick and prices are reasonable. Worth a try if you're in the neighborhood.

Ultimate skillet with chorizo and side of pancakes, yum!

I love this place, it's a genuine old school breakfast place with excellent service and food at affordable prices.

Two egg and hash browns special. Went for the scrambled option obviously.

Could use an update inside. If you didn't already know about this spot I'm sure you would drive right by it. Even after going twice I have to make sure to stop driving by. Small and hidden on the south corner of this shopping complex. The sign out front isn't much. Inside it's not overly bright and the decor could use an update. The prices are great. The service is friendly and fast. Who doesn't love a greasy spoon? Breakfast. Lunch. And dinner. Have only opted for the breakfast options because I love pancakes. Get two as a side but their consistency is excellent. Little butter and a little syrup. Perfect. Had the two eggs scrambled and cheese inlet on different visits. Hash browns are cooked well but not overly crisp. Right at that sweet spots and the price and portions are great. Old school food, vibe, and prices you can't complain about. You can order breakfast or dinner items al la crate if you like. I've been happy with wIth the preselected menu options as is however. They also offer daily specials so be sure to check the whiteboard when you first enter before being seated.

    Lunch menu last page.

Four stars for the classic breakfast vibe this place has going on. It reminds me of Colorado when I was a kid: a lot emptier, less hipness, but cheap good eating. That's what you'll find at Nancy's Cafe with a menu including your classic breakfast standards - omelets, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. Prices are still very reasonable, perhaps of the lack of renovations and maybe they own the building? Regardless, this will be a new staple due it's proximity to home. Also the servers always stop by to fill up your coffee, that's all I usually ask for during breakfast. Keep my coffee warm! Eggs and omelette, bacon, hashbrowns, and pancakes have all been great. French toast was fine, but oddly smaller than what I expected for the price. I would probably skip and go with pancakes going forward.

The atmosphere is another highlight calm , cozy, and inviting with the feel of a comfortable home-style breakfast setting. For our meal I ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy, scrambled eggs and potatoes while my spouse had a BLT with potatoes. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were well prepared and enjoyable and my spouse was satisfied with their dish except how her lettuce and tomatoes were soggy. Unfortunately the chicken fried chicken was undercooked. At the time I didn't immediately realize this as the texture seemed soft due to the gravy. It wasn't until later that I recognized the issue and I ended up feeling unwell after the meal. This was very disappointing and ultimately impacted my overall experience. While the service and ambiance were strong positives the food safety concern is significant. I hope the restaurant takes extra care in the kitchen moving forward.

The 90s hip hop that was playing really got me energized in the morning but overall the place was very low energy. Only two tables occupied.

Located in a strip mall, with ample free parking, we found this little gem. There was a 20% off check-in offer that convinced us to give them a shot. On entry, we were asked if we'd been in before & given process instructions. Fast Casual - cool. Easy enough: take menus, sit (inside or out) and pick, return to the counter to order & pay (show check-in offer when ordering), take your table number & sit back down. Your food comes out, you eat, clear your table & exit. Don't think that means you'll be ignored tho. The staff are happy to help! Service was fast, staff are friendly & in excellent spirits - no grumpy people either day. Bonus for remembering us on our return. Prices were reasonable for quality & servings plenty big. They initially forgot the drinks on our 1st visit, then refunded them for the delay. This wasn't necessary but was appreciated. I mean, we did come back the next day, both to show our appreciation & because it really was fabulous. Those dippy d's - so simple, yet so good. The Cubano Quesadilla was only slightly preferred over the BIG Breakfast Burrito. On day 2, we split the 3pc & Quesadilla- perfect amount for the 2 of us. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. The potatoes were not cooked. We were never checked on again. Then the check came, but the extra bacon I ordered "to go" had not arrived. So she went to get that. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. We also liked that they leave the carafe of coffee at the table as that's usually what we need the most, refills. That's why I feel they could stand to come a bit less since they solved the refill problem. The ambience is great. I love the idea of community tables and wooden booths and tables everywhere. I also liked seeing the place but not super-packed so you can't get a seat quickly. Sometimes I think with breakfast places, they strive for lines out the door constantly, but I prefer a place that hovers at that good 70% to 80% capacity mark. I like being able to sit when I want to come but the place still doing well enough to be thriving. All in all, this place is great and I hope California gets their location soon.
