I chose this hair salon because I had stopped by a few days earlier to confirm that they could perform a fade haircut, as indicated on their window. The owner agreed & mentioned she was also a licensed barber, and I made an online reservation. Before she started cutting my hair, I took two phone calls, each lasting about 15 seconds. The first was to confirm I was alright after a minor car accident that morning, and the second was to notify me of a time change in a meeting directly after my haircut. At the end of the experience, the hairdresser accused me of being rude because I was on the phone during my appointment - when she hadn't even started cutting my hair yet. She then informed me that I had to pay in cash. When I expressed that I had not read anything about that online, she claimed it wasn't mentioned there. I provided her with all the money I had in me - $40 in cash (the haircut was $45) and made it clear that I couldn't give her a tip, and confirming that she would not be seeing me again. She didn't complete my haircut but to be fair she did a nice line up in the bottom back & nice side points), unfortunately, it's choppy and not a clean cut, she was rude and unprofessional, and even neglected to wash my hair! Despite her 30+ years of experience, it's evident that she has serious issues and should consider retirement. In hindsight, I realize I shouldn't have paid her anything at all, but I'm a responsible person & pay for people's time. What I don't pay for is being treated poorly and getting a bad service.
