WHOA! Damn good ish here let me say let me say! I looked this place up before I came out to AZ and I was so excited and it matched up to what I thought it would be which was.. AMAZING! I got 2 Lemon cupcakes that had this amazing frosting on top and inside the cupcakes. I smashed both cupcakes at the airport the next day. They were still amazing the next day and moist!!!!! Ugh so damn good. I came in when they were closing in a few minutes so they didn't have a lot of anything next. I really wanted one of the tsunami shakes ! Ugh they were out I think but if they weren't I am not sure why I didn't order one! I am going to have to tell my girlfriend to go and order one so I can live through her. Nice little coffee place. The baristas are friendly. I had an iced decaf latte and it was great. My daughter had iced chai and that was really good. The best part was their vegan baked goods. We had cookies and a hulk bar or something like that. It was like baked square with coconut and chocolate. It was super good, but pretty rich. It would go great with a black coffee. This was one of the famous places I wanted to try for dessert in Phoenix. The place is a vegan soft serve place with lots of other baked goods. The soft serve had many interesting flavors, I got the chai tiramisu, since it sounded delicious and a great combo of flavors. The flavor itself was really good and the price was pretty reasonable considering the quality. It was 5 dollars for a small cup, but pretty good. I bought two items here, a slice of the Pistachio Rose Cake and a Coffee Cake donut. The cake slice was moist and baked well, also frosted beautifully, I thought for the amount the price was reasonable. I bought it for lunch and I was full! I bought a coworker the Coffee Cake donut and she liked it. Dear Nami As a long time very happy customer it pains me to write this. If you raise your prices (totally understandable) please adjust your menu to reflect this increase instead of making your customer have to awkwardly ask why her beverage is so much more than what the menu states and then having to make your employee tell them the prices have gone up and there might be a little sign that you can't see but yea blee blah bleeI asked for a refund and left feeling weird. It's made from organic unrefined can sugar and soy and coconut milk with your choice of vanilla, chocolate, or swirl. They combine all sorts of treats stirred in your base ice cream to from creations such as Cookies and Cream. The C&C is made with Newman-O's and drizzled with organic chocolate syrup. As expected, it's not as rich, creamy, or smooth as traditional ice cream. Because of the high water content from non-dairy milk, there are a few ice crystals and the ice cream melts fast. While tSoynami doesn't have the natural characteristics of ice cream, it's unique and delicious in it's own way. It's silky, sweet, and the toppings add a layer of crunchy and chewy texture. Of course I got a tSoynami when I came here after reading about them! Soy-based vegan soft serve with goodies mixed in? Win! I went with one of the gluten-free ones (as noted on the menu), the PB 'n' Chocolate one ... because ... peanut butter. 'Nuff said. Peanut butter and chocolate is always an amazing combination, of course. They went well with the soy soft serve, although my only issue is that the soy soft serve is not really that soft. I don't know if it was just the batch that I got or if that's how it is because it's soy milk-based and therefore lower in fat than traditional dairy soft serve ice cream, but this was rather icy and gritty. The texture more resembled a sorbet than soft serve. But still delicious nonetheless! Service also didn't leave a fantastic impression on me. The ladies behind the counter was a tad busy with previous orders but it wasn't until at least four or five minutes before one of them acknowledged that I was standing there waiting and said that they would be right with me. I don't mind waiting, but I just wish from a customer service standpoint that they would have acknowledged that I was standing there waiting patiently for quite some time. read more

My family ordered me a cake from this bakery for my birthday this year and it was, without a doubt, the worst tasting cake we each have ever had. We ordered a chocolate gluten free cake with buttercream and, unfortunately, we could each only take one bite of each our slices. The cake was truly inedible. I understand the challenges of baking around dietary restrictions very well but I have had many delicious gluten free and vegan cakes before and have seen bakeries do it successfully. Since our move to AZ, I have been searching for a quality bakery here and I am sorry to say this was not it. While I certainly appreciate the time and energy from the staff that went in to making the cake, the quality of the product and subsequent customer support were substantially lacking. My family felt terribly about this experience and I was deeply saddened to hear about their experience with customer service. I am incredibly disappointed in this bakery and could not recommend this place less. In response to your reply Stacey: To be clear, the conversation was with my family, not me. The cake was purchased for my birthday and as the recipient of it, I could not have been more disappointed. You mentioned your management team offered a method of compensation. To clarify what happened - my understanding of that conversation is that the cake was $90 and your manager offered a $10 gift card which is a subpar attempt at a resolution. My family then offered to try to work out a partial refund to cover their time of your staff and ingredients and your manager declined to work with us. You mention here that a refund was issued. We called the credit card company to check and they have let us know they do not see a refund issued on their end. If a full refund was in fact issued, we certainly appreciate it. However, we have no evidence to indicate that's the case. Furthermore, while it very well could be that you sell 100s of cakes and never receive complaints - that does not negate our experience with your bakery. Finally, if someone has an experience at your bakery like we did, where we found it to be inedible, a gift card for a fraction of the cost of the cake for more items from your bakery is not a suitable solution. read more

Pleasant atmosphere - on the student/hippy-ish/granola side of things - but that appeals to me. I love their vegan soft serve! There should definitely have more locations though! First, you chose chocolate, vanilla or swirl for a base then chose the toppings they have on the menu. Kind of like a vegan blizzard! It's really good! You can't really tell the difference tbh. I had nothing but positive experiences with friends and my kids. They are accommodating friendly and helpful. One day I had dropped my gold chain by accident, and when I called to ask (I told them I'd have to drive from Ahwatukee to look myself and wanted to see if it was in fact there before I drove) if they had found it, one of the kind employees offered to look in the parking lot where I parked, and indeed found it! She took the extra effort and time to accommodate me, and put me at ease and I am forever grateful because it was my late mothers necklace. Everything is always delicious and we always get more than enough in our servings. You were never, but we're never like wow that was so tiny do everything it's tiny more guys are the best! read more

It was so nice to be able to stop by here for Saturday breakfast! Was bummed I couldn't try the amazing looking Sunday brunch but Saturday had such good looking food, my group was still excited! The place was packed. We had to wait awhile for a table. That was fine. My friend got a country breakfast burrito and loved it although the maple syrup drizzle threw her for a moment. My other friend and I both got the biscuits and gravy and cleaned our plates! Delicious! But here's the breakdown of the plate, in my opinion. The tofu scramble? Just ok. I've had much, much better. The potatoes - solid, very good. The biscuits are not at all fluffy, white biscuits you may imagine them to be. They are heavy, possibly whole wheat, not fluffy at all, but very good flavor and they hold up to the whole plate of food very well. Overall I liked them. And the gravy? Oh my word. So incredible! The plate is made because of the gravy. Halfway through our meal, my friends' young son asked for a plain tortilla. The staff happily obliged. That was cool. I also saw a lot of amazing looking vegan desserts, and my friends (who had recently been living in Portland) said the desserts here were much better than the actual vegan bakery in Portland they had frequented. The service here was good. Not overly friendly which I prefer. Although things did take awhile to be served. I ordered the Caramel Mockiato before we left and oh my goodness. I should have gotten the biggest size. It was absolutely the best coffee of any kind from anywhere I have ever had in my life! And it's vegan! It blew my mind! Bottom line - Nami has their vegan food down to an art. You gotta try it. You won't miss the meat or dairy at all. read more

Nami is my favorite restaurant ever! I usually like to go Saturday or Sunday mornings to catch some brunch, breakfast pastries and coffee. Im sure I've tried the whole menu by now and from the food to the ice cream everything is top notch! The doughnuts are amazing. From the texture to flavor they couldn't be better. If you like orange juice and enjoy coffee try the OJ espress. I didn't know what to think when I saw that drink on the menu but after trying it, it became a new favorite! The restaurant is always clean and the employees are always smiling and happy to assist. Good job everyone. Please try this place if you haven't! You won't be disappointed My only suggestion would be to somehow add another register or staff to help get orders from the line that quickly ends up out the door every weekend. read more

I have been dying to stop here and check it out and today was the day. My sons girlfriend and I made a trip for some breakfast and coffee. Just off the freeway and an easy place to spot with the bright teal building and signs pointing the way. The location is small, but has quite a bit of parking. There is a handful of seating inside as well at patio seating. We picked up a few menus from the counter and decided on an acai bowl, vegan biscuits and gravy, a cold brew with almond milk and sf vanilla, as well as an iced caramel mockiato. We only had to wait in line for a few moments because someone was in front of us. But were able to reach the counter pretty quick. We were given a number and everything brought of to us when it was ready. Everything was so delicious. Fruit was fresh and granola tasty and just enough crunch. My cold brew was my favorite and probably the best I've ever had. It was over powering or weak just perfect. Great flavor. I wish it was closer so I could get it more often. My sons girlfriend really enjoyed her biscuits and gravy and said her coffee was awesome like mine. I can't wait to go back and try and the desserts because we were way too full when we were done today. read more

This is the Dairy Queen of the vegan world. The combination of dessert shakes is incredible. The place is called Nami, which is short for "Tsunami" where they take ice cream and load it with toppings like fruit, candy, syrups and more. They have other baked goods as well, but they're famous for their Tsunamis. I've been a couple times, and it's insane how many come in and buy their favorite tsunami. Not to mention my son loves them! If you're into ice cream concoctions you have to eat with a spoon or you like milkshakes (without dairy milk of course) this is your kind of spot. read more

Hello! Hope your having a great day! Would like to start off by saying working in customer/food service is not easy and I know this being a waitress myself. I met my mom here and she had just gotten off of work from a long day, just wanting to relax. She doesn't go out often but is very social and honestly one of the kindest people you will ever meet. We ordered from Connor (very kind) and looked for seating. I saw a table in the corner (one of like 3 inside) and motioned my mom to come over. Also, the restaurant was not busy at this time. May have been 1 or 2 other people behind us. There were a group of people that appeared to have already been there a while. Weren't many places to sit that felt intimate and I thought my mom would be comfy there. The table did have two papers that read reserved but one was pushed to the very back of the table and the other appeared to have fallen over & was on the very back of the bench. My mom got our ice cream and we returned to the table. 20 mins goes by and we're just enjoying ourselves. A lot of people walked in and out of nowhere a girl walks over and says "hey that table is for employees only" she was quite a distance from us so she said it pretty loudly and people looked over at us. There was a pause & I said "okay" and as shes walking off she says "sorry about that" It was pretty awkward and I felt like we just got yelled at. We stood up and people were still kinda looking at us. So we just left... Long story short, my mom was pretty upset & embarrassed. She called to explain how uncomfortable she felt and asked for a manager. coincidentally that same lady is who gets put on the phone. She wasn't very empathetic and was like "well someone had to tell you" she didn't want to provide her name & is not obligated to but at least give the GMs name & your first initial. Something! I was so upset at how this was being handled & how we were treated I had to walk in and ask for the GMs name & times she would be here. Fast forward a couple days, we never got a call from the GM Stacy, my mom also spoke with Ellie who is a manager but also felt she was not acknowledging how she felt. It's not the girls fault but it's managements fault for allowing this. This isn't the first review where people complain of rude staff. Also, if that same girl is reading this just know I understand your job is not easy but kindness goes a long way. But a way to fix this Stacy would be to mark that table as Employees Only and if someone has already been sitting there a while, just let them sit there. Most people aren't there long anyway.
