I love that each plate comes with a pile of fresh herbs on it, too. Very tasty garnish. The prices are extremely reasonable. The unagi was really small though, cold and not grilled and no teriyaki sauce glazed on top to make it really yummy. It was just a small one inch thin piece of eel that was cold and put on top of the poorly made sushi rice. The sushi rice tasted good but kept breaking so they obviously don't know how to make quality sushi rice. High quality sushi rice doesn't break apart at all especially when you dip it gently in the soy sauce. Then again this is a Viet place in Germany that also makes sushi and none of the 3 Viet restaurants I've eaten at in Germany have been that impressive or exceeded my expectations. I guess I can't fault them for only knowing how to cook for Germans since their taste preference for Asian food is different in Germany than it is in California. I had my food delivered to my uncle's home close by for this order and the delivery time was good. Delivery guy was also friendly and professional.

(Nothing exotic - but very tasty!) You can sit inside (or outside during the warm months, by the water fountain in the Atrium courtyard), or easily take-away, which seems to be a lot of their business. As far as Rosenheim goes, this is probably your best option for sushi. The Vietnamese dishes are tasty but rather typical for "German-style Asian food".. I definitely enjoy a nice bowl of their Pho on a chilly evening. (It's rather uncomplicated and not served with many options, but it's done right: the meat is very tender and the broth is savory and satisfying!) The people there are always quite friendly, patient, and helpful.. and it's very reasonably priced!

I didn't realize it was in the heart of a university area, and it was hidden in an apartment complex courtyard of some sort. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly for dinner hour, but I was able to get an opentable reservation. The service was quick and very nice too. The price was pretty expensive, though I guess sushi in Munich is difficult to get. The quality of the large sashimi plate was decent, nothing too special. There were definitely alot of options of fish that were super fishy tasting, which even as an avid sashimi lover, I felt a little sick afterwards. I think I maybe just ate too much.

Now we didn't have a clue what to expect about the food. Turns out the food is still very nice! The old menu has been continued plus they have added some Japanese options. The Japanese options are more or less Japanese variations of some of the Vietnamese ramen, as explained by the new owner. She also added sushi to the menu. Since we specifically wanted Vietnamese, we didn't try out the sushi or Japanese ramen. Our food order was what we had the last time we were in the restaurant under previous ownership. We had dinner with Vietnamese friends who, of course, knew exactly what to order. The food tasted just as good as the time before. The only difference was the fish. The new one had a different sauce, the new owner informed us about this when we ordered, unfortunately it wasn't a big success on our table with a party of five. The new owner was very enthusiastic and friendly. All in all I can recommend this restaurant just as easily as when it was under previous ownership. Next sushi time I'll try to make it a point to try it here. Our order included the 'Glücksrolle' with beef as appetiser and: 1 con cá chiên ăn vi nc mn gng 1 đĩa Gà xào x t 1 đĩa đu h mui x t 1 Tô canh chua tôm I don't know which one is the fish though (-; Tofu with vegetables, chicken and vegetables, entire fish in sauce, soup with prawns and rice of course. The soup and the chicken we ordered twice.

I think the sushi was probably the best I have had in Munich so far. I really liked the spicy tuna roll. It had a unique and fresh flavor to it that I wasn't expecting. The ebi tempura Maki wasn't my favorite. It felt like there was way to much tempura and very little shrimp in the roll. A friend also got the shrimp dumpling (ha gao) as an appetizer and although they were physically made well they were not as good they are supposed to be. I really enjoyed the food but also have to say that it was surprisingly expensive. I would go again but would pick more carefully what I order.
