There were periods of weeks to months during which I received no communication regarding my case. In most instances, I had to initiate contact myself to obtain updates or information. As a result, I spent nearly a year uncertain about the status of my case. Before my custody case was resolved, my attorney withdrew from representing me, and I completed the remainder of the case pro se. Representing myself in a family law matter added significant stress during an already demanding period while I was preparing my medical school application. After my case concluded, I reviewed publicly available client reviews and saw that other clients had described experiences similar to my own. I wish I had seen those reviews before deciding to retain the firm. Based on my experience, I would not retain the Law Office of Darlene Gomez again and cannot recommend the firm to others seeking family law representation.

After not hearing back from Jose after 3 business days I called and ended up leaving a voice mail for him to return my call. I wanted to know if Berenson & Assoc wished to proceed with my complaint. After still not hearing back from Jose I left another voice message a week later. I never heard back from Jose Perez. He had no problem accepting my $250 payment but failed to provide any feedback after that. Communication is imperative with any law firm. Since I never heard any feedback on whether to proceed with my complaint after my consulation with Jose, I would not recomend this law firm.

it is kind of hard to explain how i feel about taxi chaser lawyers who have no morals or integrity…read moreand who want to evict 100 percent, disabled military veterans, with, 24 years of service to the united states of america, and who have service connected ptsd. i am already dealing with "criminal charges in both the rio rancho municipal courthouse and the sandoval county magistrate courthouse. give me a break from this "perpetual harassment" from amc/meadowlark apartments, noelle l. romine, and bryan! it is a shock to see that amc property management consultants llc, salt lake city, utah pay for a "real lawyer" after over a month. amc is too cheap to pay 42 cents for a stamp and amc is too cheap to replace "defective hot water heaters", even though one of the defective hot water heaters recently blew up and blew out the whole front of apartment 12. i can only assume that the husband and wife, who are in their 70's, were injured. i have not seen hide nor hair of either of them. amc is claiming that "grandma drove her car into the front of the apartment". that is a total lie.

When I mentioned leaving a negative review, Adam responded with threats of violence on Facebook, showcasing both a massive ego and a lack of professionalism. Adam also accused me of doing "Blues" which is street terms for Fentanyl. Accusing someone of such a horrible drug is beyond what I thought Adam would stoop down to. Adam also posted part of our conversation on his page to belittle me and is a total defamation of character, especially on someone who has helped homeless people get in to help and shelters while working for the Department of Health during the pandemic. (See pictures) Adam's delusional self-worth is far from reality, and his actions and attitude indicate a subpar attorney at best. I strongly advise against seeking his services. Dealing with such an ego and unprofessionalism can only jeopardize your legal matters. Look elsewhere for competent and respectful legal representation.
