My Spanish is embarrassing and I didn't know how to find a reputable salon in the area. When I found this one on yelp and tried booking a same-day appointment, they didn't show any availability until the following week. My husband and I were walking around the neighborhood and he suggested I stop in and ask if they had any openings. When I went inside, the salon was super clean, stylish, and welcoming, with comfortable chairs. The receptionist said, "Can you do it right now?" Yes! I was very happy to be seen at the last minute. Although my stylist didn't speak English, the receptionist did and he translated. I told them that my hair doesn't hold curls well and I was hoping it would last all night. My stylist quickly gave me smooth, bouncy waves, showing me the back with mirrors before she finished. It was a HOT humid day and I danced all night, sweated through the afternoon ceremony, and my hair still looked great by the end of the evening. The cost was about $29 USD, which is totally reasonable (I'm used to paying at least 50 for a style). I really wish they took cards (cash only), but I was really pleased with the service and how they accommodated me the way of!

Not speaking the local language posed a bit of a problem in securing an appointment. How fortunate we were to have discovered Romina salon. Not only did the owner Adriana, speak English very well but her salon attendants were excellent in their procedure and technique. My daughter and I left the salon feeling relaxed and beautiful as one should when you leave a salon. I can't say enough good things about this very professional business and Adriana, the lovely proprietress that owns it.
