Second time here, and my actual pedicure this time was better than last time. Gloves for every pedicure are a plus. But I asked for no cut, file only, and she cut a couple with the cuticle cutter anyway. Shorter than I usually go, but whatever. Spa chairs are too close together. You wouldn't think that matters until the lady next to you is getting acrylics done. The tech was literally a foot away from me, and I got a face full of acrylic dust. And I didn't get the benefit of the medical facemask. Now I see why the previous reviewer talked about the chemical smell. The place is just too small, so there really isn't enough ventilation. I asked if they took credit card, and they said yes. However, they didn't like that I didn't have cash for the tip. They said, "Next time, bring cash!" I ended up writing a check instead, while thinking, 'there won't be a next time, lady!' Cost for the pedi was $20. After my pedicure was done, the tech told me to sit for a few minutes to let my polish dry. But they take away the towel, so your feet end up on the bare chair. ick. Then she cleaned the chair while I was still in it. That annoyed me because I got cleanser splashed on me. So then I whip out my phone and start leaving my negative review. Unbeknownst to me, the other tech saw what I was doing in the mirror's reflection. Well, then I promptly got ushered out to the waiting area instead of the chair. Lol, busted. I went to this salon about 2 months ago and thought "yea I finally found a new salon to go to". I went today and thought, "Oh man I'm never going back to this place again". The woman that did my toes was great. Very attentive with good follow through. The massage was mediocre but I never expect amazing massages at the nail salon. The woman that did my hands is another story. I asked for my nails to be filed in an oval shape. As I watched her rush through each finger I knew she didn't do a good job. After I paid and before she polished, I made her go through each nail as I explained to her what an oval shaped nail should look like. She mumbled under her breath, "oh my God". Um excuse me? I asked up front for oval nails, you sped through it, didn't do it right, now you wanna call on the Lord? *breathe* Will not be going back to this place because there is no need to bring Jesus to a mani/pedi. Never get it from the man. Very poor service, does not pay attention to detail, and accidentally poured powder all over my hand instead of lotion. Very carelessly wiped my hands with alcohol and cotton, and proceeded to wipe lotion all over my hand which left my hand grainy. Rushed over to the next customer who did not have a reservation. Not even two days later, the gel on my thumb came off, and I went back to get it fixed. Same man only applied one coat, and rushed off to start on another person's nail. The color came out lighter due to the one vs. two coats. I unfortunately did not have time to stay and ask him to do it again, but I for sure know I won't be returning here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Costumer service was absolutely the worst I've ever had to deal with. I came in with a picture of what I had wanted my nails to look like, and they said it was no problem they could do that for me. Not only did they not do what I wanted AT ALL, the man then persuaded to YELL at me because I didn't like what he had done. If you do go, don't get Anthony...he will not listen to you. He doesn't pay attention to detail, and doesn't care about his customers. When I asked if I could get a refund or even if they could redo them, it was a huge hassle. I just came back from getting my nails done from this place. First off, the lady who was doing my nails, ripped my skin and didn't even bother to say sorry. Second, she rushed my gel manicure, and it was reflected in the final product. I'm usually not the one to complain about a mani or pedi, but this place is not worth it. They used to be good once, but I think the owner lost her respect for her customers and have a terrible customer service and attitued proble. First and last visit here. The girl burned me with a hot tub of water for my pedicure and instead on apologizing she says "too hot for you huh, it scared the crap out of you" really!? Unprofessional. Then she asked me what was wrong with my toe very loudly in front of many other customers, I wasn't aware anything was wrong with it. Next she cuts one of my other toes and after several minutes of trying to stop the bleeding, she grabs super glue. I asked her not to put super glue on my wound but didn't listen and now I have a super glued wound. Finally the torture was done and asked me to pay. I gave her my card and wanted me to tell her the tip verbally so she can add it in the transaction. I told her I would add the tip later but she insisted on wanting the tip amount at that moment. NEVER again will I be coming back. Horrible service! Too bad I'm too nice of a person to make a scene because I was sure furious. read more

They might do an okay job for the price, but the service is terrible and i mean TERRIBLE. The owners have no respect for their customers. I come to Nails Paradise a lot and I'm usually pretty satisfied when I leave. I've been coming here for years, but I think it's finally time to find a new nail salon. I asked for a full set of acrylics which I get often so I know what a good vs. bad set looks like. There were several reasons why I was upset with my service today. In the past when I have gotten so-so sets, it had been because it was busy, but today it was pretty empty and I think the girl who was working on my nails was just distracted by other girl who worked there. They were whispering in Vietnamese the whole time I was there which made me uncomfortable and made it feel like they were talking about me the whole time. It also made it seem like she was distracted, as if her conversation was more important than the quality of my nails. Another thing that really was getting me peeved, was the way the lady was angling my wrist. It was clearly uncomfortable for me but she still kept angling it in a way that was uncomfortable for me, rather than just adjusting her own body so that she could get the angle she wanted. I am one who can handle pain pretty well but it was so bad I had to massage my wrist out after she let it go because she was straining it so much. My cuticles. I haven't gotten my nails done in a long time so I was looking forward getting my cuticles cleaned up. My cuticles look destroyed, and as my mother put it when I got home, "all cut up." My cuticles actually looked worse when I left than how they looked when I came in! She also knicked me several times while doing my nails to the point where I jerked back and said ow! Lastly, the nails themselves look subpar. I said I wanted my nails short, but the white thick. The white is very thin for my standards which I am not happy about. In addition, when I compare my nails side by side, the white is not the same width. I like my nails square but rounded, they are all unevenly shaped. Usually they clean under the nail and get all the excess acrylic out, but I still feel a lot of lumps. On my left pinky, there is an actual bump of acrylic she didn't smooth out. Also, the white itself is very uneven. Usually they use another plastic nail to shape the white, which she did, but it looks so lopsided on almost every nail. some nails have a flatter curve, while others have a very extreme curve, while others are not even a smooth curve. overall, I am very unsatisfied with my trip to nails paradise today and will probably not return back because of the poor service and poor outcome. read more

I sat down to get a pedicure & the lady doing my nails kept getting up every few minuets to answer the phone, to charge customers...at one point she got up to charge & looked at the girls toes at pedicure chair touched her feet for a while & then her toes & proceded to put on the ladies sandals which where so dirty... I went in here to just get the gel nail polish off my fingernails. The lady was very rough and scraped my cuticles with the nail file many times. I told her to stop but she kept on doing it. And she used to same rough nail file to file my nails. Not sure why. She made my nails uneven looking. I had to go home and reshape them. read more

Been a client for almost 12 years now, and always leave satisfied with my nails and toes. I alternate between pink and white/pink powder/gel for my nails. Amy always gets them right. She knows exactly what I like/dislike and I always love her recommendations. Lena always takes care of my pedicure. She is very thorough, which usually takes longer than it should, but I love the end result. My pedicure usually lasts 4-5 weeks, no problem. The price is good. Service is fast. I must give 5 stars for my experience 24 hours ago. Tammy did permanent makeup on my eyebrows on Sunday morning and they look amazing. She made it so that I was pain free and created a custom color to compliment my hair color and skin tone. I am back at work today with a natural yet beautifully enhanced update to my face!
