So I decided to give it a shot. All the nail techs are support friendly. The salon itself is just so cute! I loved the decor! I got my nails done using the builder gel product on January 7th and my nails are still look amazing! I highly recommend calling today to make your appointment!

A few days prior to my appointment, Angie texted asking if she could reschedule my appointment 30 minutes later. I replied that I had time sensitive plans and offered to schedule another day if there was a conflict. Angie replied and said she would see me at original appointment time. A few hours later, I received another text from Angie, asking if I could come in 30 minutes earlier because she had just read the notes and realized that my appointment might take longer: appointment rescheduled. About 15 minutes before my service was complete, the next patron arrived, showing me that Angie had double booked. During the pedicure Angie was distracted. She kept checking her phone and sending text messages. I told her that I do not typically get my nails done because they never seem to last. Angie went on to brag about how her products from the UK are different and even said that builder gel would easily last four weeks. The pedicure itself was good, so I came back and brought my husband for a pedicure. 3/26 Robin did my manicure and my husband and I both had pedicures. This was the only service that they offered a beverage. Vivi's sanding machine kept going in and out and the massage chairs were not working. The mood in the room was tense; Angie gave my husband RBF the entire time. Ten days later my builder gel manicure started popping off, one nail at a time. After the first nail popped off, I messaged Robin asking if she could repair the nail, but I never received a response. 4/22 benefit of doubt. Robin could not explain why they all popped off but tried another full set of builder gel. For this set, all but one nail lasted an entire three weeks and I was pleased. During the pedicure, water started leaking beneath the pedicure stool and both Robin and Vivi had to climb underneath, mid-service, to fix the drainage. Massage chairs still were not working. Angie was out of town doing training and my husband mentioned the RBF to the girls; they both agreed that it occurred often, but assured us it was not a true reflection of Angie as she was having a lot of personal issues at home that they couldn't discuss. (Not professional to excuse owner behavior with personal issues). Both my husband and my services were rescheduled for 30 minutes earlier without informing us other than an autogenerated text. This caused my husband to be a few minutes since there was not enough time for him to get there after work. Thankfully, because his toes do not get painted, there was still time to complete his service. This practice of rescheduling appointments constantly without informing customers is very unprofessional, especially when there is such a strict cancellation policy with excessive fees. 5/15 I had a builder gel fill service completed by Robin. When she was filing down the old polish and gel there were two large brown spots in the middle layers of gel on my thumb nail. Robin assured me that this was a "normal" occurrence due to trapped moisture and was enthusiastically positive that there was no fungus present as "it's practically impossible to get fungus with these products." Fill service continued in a hurried fashion as she had started my service over 20 minutes late and the next gal was already waiting. Final Straw! 5/19, four days later, the gel on my thumb nail popped off. I noticed that my natural thumbnail had a dark brown spot as well as green across the surface. I sent photos to Angie, and she confirmed it is fungus. I requested removal and voiced my expectation for a partial refund as a service that is meant to last three weeks but only lasts four days should not cost full price. Angie replied that refund was not possible but offered a discount on my next set. Before trying to obtain future business, make sure you take care of current issues. I was offered an appointment over 48 hours away to have the current set professionally removed (while fungus is actively growing on my nails due to poor Salon practices). Angie tried to blame "lifestyle" for the fungus. On many occasions during my multiple services Angie made comments about having expensive tastes and doing things differently. While the pedicure chairs may look nice, they function extremely poorly. The nail tech stations are dirty, and the cheap faux leather finish is rubbing away. After being open for 18 months, she has a temporary banner on the outside of the storefront while claiming to offer a luxurious space and experience. A's Nail Loft suffers from impostor syndrome: wanting to be an elite salon, but their repeated actions scream mediocre. Choose carefully where you spend your dollars people.

I met Nicole at another salon and followed her to her place. I like the quiet of this spot. It seats no more than two people, so essentially, your appointment is always private. The space is cozy but well appointed. Nicole is super chill and nice to chat with and my nails always turn out great. She uses all vegan/natural nail polishes, which I appreciate. Booking is easy using the Vagaro app!

She's uses all low tox nail polish, and is conscious about using the cleanest products she can. This is SO refreshing especially now that we know so many beauty products and fragrances are toxic these days. (It was the first time I've ever came home from a pedicure and didn't smell chemically and/or of strong perfume from lotions.) I normally get monthly pedicures from a typical nail salon, and even though I go monthly, my skin is still incredibly dry. One visit with Nicole and my feet haven't felt this soft in at least 5 years! I can't wait to go back, even though my polish still looks perfect so I probably won't need to for a while. Go see Nicole, you won't regret it!
