Nail Trix use to be a great place to get a nice pedicure. They have always been friendly and have always done a nice job. Lately since pedicures have gone up in price depending on what you want done, I've noticed that if you don't pay $100 for an expensive pedicure, they do a sloppy rush job. Sometimes when I feel like it, I will get a nice expensive pedi, but sometimes I just want to spend $60 or $70. Yesterday I went in for a relaxing pedicure and spent $70 with tip for a "30 minute" rush job. She did it so unbelievably fast, that I was in and out in a blink of an eye!!!! NOT RELAXING AT ALL! I've gone to Nail Trix for years for a nice relaxing pedicure, but I'll be going to one of the new nail places in town. "Buyer beware," if you dont spend $100+ you'll get a rush job for $75. read more

I was so pleased with my experience here yesterday. John did a basic pedicure for me and went above and beyond when he saw my feet were cracked from the winter dryness. He took extra time on me by grating my heels and any clauses areas. He was very friendly and even covered my toes with extra solar oil. They have massage chairs too and don't rush you out if you want to rest a bit after. I brought a friend with me and we both were thankful for the service. luxury pedi for my husband lasted about 15 minutes. Total waste of time and money. She was in such a hurry to smoke or whatever... not relaxing, not enjoyable for my husband at all. Waste of $$$! Actually exact opposite of relaxing... she was in such a hurry, It was uncomfortable!!! Then she did my (mini) manicure as I don't think you can really call it a mani changing polish color while getting a pedi .... Now a couple days later gel chipping, etc,. I booked my appointment with Britney and she had a family emergency and I got Morgan as my technician:) she was super friendly and made my experience extremely great. She was quick and gave my feet a much needed scrub for the pedicure. I'm from California and used to get pedicures every two weeks and now I can start doing that again! I requested a simple manicure, and what I received was a lumpy mess. She did not adequately remove the acrylic build-up. My tech was very unfriendly and treated me like a set of hands not attached to a person. I would have liked to remove my jewelry before she slathered lotion all over my rings. I didn't know when I should leave as she left me with my hands under the dryer while she went to work on someone else. No hello, no thank you, no goodbye. I almost felt like I should have apologized for coming in. The time before a different tech was not paying attention. She was busy looking out the window and was rough enough with her file to cause a burn. My index finger began to throb in the middle of the night. That's when i noticed a tiny blister with redness. I soaked my hand in warm water, applied Neosporin and a bandaid. It took a couple of days before I could go without a bandaid. Needless to say, I will not go back. read more

He was abrupt and bossy, and kept jerking my hands and forcefully pushing them back when it was time to switch hands. This is the worst dip nails I have ever had. He took over an hour and a half. They are all different shapes and sizes, too thick, extremely messy with the dip all over my cuticles/fingers, and cut my skin until it bled. Can't believe it was $40. They messed up my daughters nails and instead of just fixing them graciously they came at my daughter accusing her of not telling them she didn't like her nails, they were all chewing her out in pairs of three and being completely mean and disrespectful. TL:DR Worst customer service and time management I have ever experienced; absolutely not worth your time, energy, or money. In the past, I could not recommend this salon enough. They were always personable, quick, and had great customer service. But recently I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at this salon and I will not ever be returning. I made an appointment for 3 mani-pedis with Nail Trix for 1 pm on a Friday and knowing it would probably be a little busy, I called over a week in advance to make my appointment. When we got there day of, the secretary let me know they were running a little behind and it would be 15 minutes before we were seen. Cool. No problem. I get it being busy. I will admit that I was super impressed with the secretary when she came into the mall to find us and let us know it would be just a few minutes more. 15 minutes pass and we're taken to our seats. This is when I feel like everything went wrong. Normally when you're seated, it only takes 5 - 10 minutes before some one comes over and starts working with you. We sat there for 45 minutes and no one had come over. I understand the salon was busy, but we had made an appointment in advance, why was there not someone ready for us at 1 pm? At 1:55 I asked the secretary when she thought we would be seen and what time she thought we would be done as I had to be in Ronan by 4, which is why I had made the appointment for the time I had. She let me know it would be soon and to get all 3 of us done, we wouldn't be done until 3 pm. Fine, I can deal with being a few minutes late. I will also admit that I was getting upset and had said if we weren't seen soon we would be leaving all together. I don't know what happened behind the scenes, but someone was over within minutes. She finished my pedicure and said I was welcome to wait with my party for a few minutes. I noticed that she then went to someone else, which I thought was weird. When the 2 other people in my party were finished and being dismissed, I asked where we should move to for our manicures. Both of our nail techs were shocked and confused. The secretary came over and said, "they were scheduled for mani pedis but they have somewhere they need to be." I was pissed. She had just changed what we were getting without even talking to us! I then made it very clear that we needed to at least get my nails done as I had a wedding the next day. All the employees seemed upset and one of them told another gal in my party to go to her table. We all followed and waited to be seen. The lady asked the other gal to be seated and for us to pull up seats. I said we were also getting manicures and she said to pull up seats and wait. I assumed that the lady who had just been working on the other person in our party's nails would come over and start on one of our manicures. NOPE! She moved on to someone else's pedicure. The one lady would now be doing all 3 of our manicures, one at a time, this making our appointment take EVEN MORE time. But it didn't end there! At this point, we had decided that one of our part would not get their nails done to save time. And honestly, if they had started with my nails, I would have been the only one to get my nails done. While this lady was working on our nails, we was very rude, violent, and acted as if WE were the problem/inconvenience. She cut my fingers twice, all of my nails are shaped weirdly (I legit have sharp talons on some of them), and they hurt for days after I left. To make the situation better, I was half expecting some sort of discount or coupon for another visit, but they didn't do anything of the sort. The secretary completely passed the blame onto us since we were in a rush, but they were the ones who were an hour late, messed up our appointment details without talked or confirming with us, and then were extremely rude and violent during the rest of our appointment. On top of everything, my nails chipped within 2 days of getting them done, and I'm not hard on my nails at all. Normally Gel Polish will last for at least a week on my nails before chipping. I will absolutely never be returning to Nail Trix and I would like to point out that they used to be my go-to place. read more

Went in for a spur-of-the-moment decision to get gel mani/pedi for myself and my daughter. The ladies that did our nails did a great job, were friendly and kind. I also have pain in the big toe on both feet (like if I bump it or one of kids steps on my feet it hurts worse than it should), the lady that did my pedicure removed impacted dead skin and was slow and meticulous and as soon as she got that I felt instant pressure relief (I have a bad back and have a hard time reaching my toes to do this).
