So here we are again. I'm just coming to the conclusion that you cannot count on decent service each time. This has been a on going problem for years. Last time I went I was completely frustrated cause we're back to BS. I got their highest priced Pedi and eyebrow wax and with tip laid down $150. I had to turn around and walk back inside because once in the sunlight it looked like I had blue blobs through my polish.... where they didn't paint an even layer. This time I was hesitant to go back.. my high dollar pedi wasn't relaxing at all... as the woman kept digging out non existent ingrown nails... ( which ended up in me getting one cause she cut so far into the sides.) I had to keep telling her she was hurting me. Like she couldn't tell from my hissing and pulling away. But surely it's not gonna be that bad right? I needed my nails done because they were too long. But i'm gonna be getting them done in a few weeks with my Mom so I didn't want anything to fancy. So I went with the $70 Pedi. I just wanted to relax. Impossible. This woman literally had me stick my free in freezing cold water then turned on all hot and I kept telling her it was getting too hot and she would say " That ok." I had to pull my feet out. My feet were soaking less then 3 minutes when she had me pull out the first foot and started cutting the skin on the side of my nail bed. 3 times hissing and pulling away and she just kept saying sorry ( yes a different woman then last time). She got frustrated and put down the snippers and took a nail file and proceeded to file the skin around my toenail. Again till I had to pull away. She had around my nails raw. When I stuck my foot back into the water it felt like I was sticking my foot into alcohol! If she didn't say sorry 50 times, she didn't say it once. I told her, don't be sorry, be gentle! She rushed the entire pedi after that. None of it was enjoyable or relaxing. I could not wait to leave. She paints my nails, gets up without a word and is gone 30 minutes. A nail tech comes over and tells me my nails are dry I can go up and pay. I said, " No ma'am, I need another coat and top coat. You can literally see my nail through the paint in places." She looks and is talking to herself.. and pointing to all the spots I was talking about. My tech magically appears. And argues until the tech says, it's fine i'll paint them. She paints right over the mess I already had. Gives me the job pictured and said, " You happy now?" I deadpan her. Because lady you and I know that still a hot mess. Yaw had enough chances. I wonder if it's under new owners cause the last ones made sure to come around and make sure you were enjoying yourself. I won't be back. read more

These folks are quite the nail professionals. We took our daughter in for a nail job while visiting her. You can probably tell from my vernacular that I've never had my nails done, I'm the Dad (the guy who waits and pays). These people were very kind and efficient though. They were fast and did a great job. My wife and daughter both stated that they were very quick and did a fabulous quality job. I will say from my standpoint, I've spent many a long time waiting in nail salons and this was not bad at all. Anna was the technician's name and she did a wonderful job. Anna is an artist with the application of acrylic. It was really quite interesting to watch the detail she put into her work. The decor and vibe is a bit like a trip to Versailles. Great job! We had gone to one other mail place in town but they seemed like they only wanted to offer me the more premium mani/pedi (which I am not interested in since I am a runner), but my hubby likes to and deserves to be spoiled. They didn't bat an eye here (and spent over an hour on his pedicure as opposed to the 15 min one he got elsewhere, and they listened when I told them that I didn't want a massage or callous removal. Keep in mind I get short gel all the time and I usually pay no more than $40.... This day the tech said $55! I was stunned, yet I still paid because I should of asked! They already expect us to act out and not want to pay but this was ridiculous! $55 for mediocre nails! Maybe she used quality products, as I haven't had any to break as of yet! Came here because i needed nails done for an event. I asked for the cheaper option for French and they put the nails and the white part took up my whole nail. So if you want to get French i recommend getting the more expensive one. I had the main guy do my nails. I asked nicely for him to just paint over it and add chrome and he did it with no hesitation. He was very attentive and very good at what he does. I did not get his name unfortunately. He also didn't charge me for both which is even better when most nail salons would do that. I have been here before and I have never had a problem. They always do a great job. The one thing I didn't like is that they charge for little things like an extra $5 for a centimeter or more of length on a nail. It's more expensive to get gel polish or dip then putting an actual nail on it which is weird. Their prices on their menu is not what is like when you go in. Not at all the experience I hoped for... I had high hopes. My mother was a nail technician for 20 years and has drilled into my brain that a good pedicure should be no less than 40-45 minutes. Mine took probably 25 if I was lucky. I was rushed and did not receive what I normally do when I get a pedicure. My nails were not even filed or shaped at all. My friend and I were not massaged for more than 2 minutes. My polish has streaks in it and was overall not done all that well. They don't look awful, so I will suffice, but this was definitely far from one of my best pedicures. The workers were pushy, rude and tried to force things on my friends and I that we did not want. Wow wow wow. This was the BEST nail salon experience I've ever had! I've been to several salons across the US, and who knew this one in my own hometown would be so superior? I got a pedicure today, and to say the least, I'm in love! I walked in and was greeted kindly by a man. He asked me to wash my hands first, which I appreciated during these uncertain times. I was given a seat quickly. I decided on the studio spa pedicure. An older man then proceeded to give me an amazing pedicure. He was kind and asked me several questions about what I wanted with my nails. He also took time to cut my nails and remove any imperfections in the polish. One of my favorite things about the salon was the atmosphere. If I'm getting a pedicure, it's usually some self care where I treat myself. This salon had a beautiful interior with relaxing water features and colors. It was quite clean and had little clutter inside the salon. It was also pretty quiet to help relax my mind while I was getting the pedicure. I think the atmosphere really puts this place above many others. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. The older lady repeatedly ignored my requests and had an attitude towards me when I asked for something. She got up without saying anything once she was done with my nails and they were not done the way I had asked. Another man helped me after the fact but if you want a stress free experience DO NOT COME HERE!!! I left irritated and unsatisfied. DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. The nail tech made two of my nails bleed, slicing one open to the point it was dripping blood. He put acrylic nail glue on my open wound after I told him not do. I was on the verge of tears the entire time. He ended up making me pay despite the fact that he made two of my fingers bleed, AND my nails looked awful. They are patchy and there's missing spots near my cuticles and on the edge of my nail. Awful - the shortest "deluxe" pedicure had ever had. And then it got worse. Sat down to have nails done (dip) and picked out a color. The technician ask about shortening my nails and I explained the length I wanted. Next thing I know she had shortened my longish nails to the tip on my fingers. Her reaction was "oh".. Then as she stared the color portion of the dip I said, that is darker than what I chose. She kept going. I got someone who appeared to me a boss involved. Then they had to soak it all off again and start over. And on that note - they still soak your nails in a bowl of acetone (fumes and all) instead of the cotton and foil wrap. Also, in spite of other reviews, it is noisy and there is mold at the bottom of the water walls. While they we doing my nails the second time, a technician was sitting behind me listening to something on his phone with the speaker ON in Vietnamese. So after 2+ hours I walked out a very unhappy person. Wish I could post no stars. read more

I started coming here after the remodel because it was closer to home. The owners are so sweet. They offer a massage and drink with every manicure/service. My sister had used this place before and liked it. My two daughters(9 and12) and myself got pedicures and it was the best pedicure I've ever had. My oldest had a terrible experience at a salon in Tuscaloosa before, where they tore the skin off around her nails. She was scared to try it again and I'm so thankful she had a good experience. We don't get our nails done a lot, but this will be our go to place from here on out. I went in & asked them for a simple flower design, they said that they couldn't do that. So then I showed them a picture of french tips that were different colors. He seemed confused and then let me pick out my colors. Keep in mind these are GEL NAILS. no acrylics, nothing fancy because i didn't want to have to pay a whole a lot of money for nails. They were cute, simple, gel nails. He charged me $60 dollars for SIMPLE GEL NAILS. I will never go back here, they're menu says gel nails are $35, not $60 f-ing dollars.
