If you need a wedding planner, stop looking and book Nahid ASAP. She planned a Perfect wedding, in only 2 months! Our wedding date was 8/21/21. The state had lifted the COVID restrictions and weddings resumed. The floodgate of backlogged weddings came around. We met with Nahid for the initial meeting in person, she got to meet us individually, asked many questions of what style of wedding we like, budget, etc...we decided to proceed. I was concerned with the short 2 month planning, she reassured me that its very doable. Right away the planning started. We chose the Westgate hotel in downtown San Diego as the chandeliers captivated us. Nahid is extremely connected to top of the line vendors. Although we didnt have to do much work as a client, we as a couple still tried to do our work to find vendors or alternate quotes as well, unfortunately whenever we tried to contact a vendor for a quote or something on our own, because of the saturated market, they would never call us back. Once we would tell Nahid about this, she would be like, "oh, no no no, I will call them." and within minutes that vendor (any vendor) would reply to us almost instantly. I felt we were at a huge advantage because they would answer her, she just knows EVERYONE! For vendors, we got a harp player, walked down the aisle with a live quartet, Dj with percussionist and saxofone player, professional salsa dancers, the room was saturated with lush flowers cascading down the tables, we had the most luxurious stationary including personalized menus, beautiful invitations, and seating chart arrangement. Great photographer and videographer, and makeup artist. The day of the wedding, i had absolutely no stress like I thought I would. Her staff made sure I ate, made sure I had everything i needed throughout the wedding. if I changed my shoes, she would put them away or my lipstick, or anything that we needed. She even had the little headpieces on her ear to communicate with her staff like on the movie The Wedding Planner with Jlo which I thought it was sooo cute. It was insane how detailed and hand customed our wedding turned out to be. Every detail was carefully selected. From the food tasting, to the plate settings, to the mock table with the florist. I honestly didnt think we could plan it all in two months, especially with the floodgates of weddings and everyone wanting to have weddings in the same weekend. I feel our wedding looked like it was planned for at least 1 year. A lot of our guests said this was by far the best wedding that they have ever been to. Nahid is such a nice great person to work with, she is always available. As a client, you just have to be realistic with your expectations, understand that weddings will cost money, be open to change if needed especially with the ever changing rules of this pandemic. Five stars don't seem to be enough for Nahid and her team! Hiring Nahid was one of the best decisions my husband and I made throughout our entire planning process. We were planning a destination wedding in Coronado from Houston and from the moment Nahid came on board, all of our concerns seemed to go away. No matter the problem, big or small, Nahid was able to provide multiple options and when necessary, multiple helpful vendors to solve the problem. We only made two trip out to San Diego before our wedding so Nahid was our eyes and ears on the ground for close to a year. She would attend several floral and decor appointments on our behalf and text me pictures to make sure everything was exactly as we would like it. Nahid was the planner for my Indian wedding and she was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I would give her 100 stars if I could! We signed Nahid on for our wedding about 7 months ahead of the event. Unlike most planners you will encounter in your search, Nahid was available for us to contact her whenever we had questions from the time we signed her on. Most contracts you will see only start consultation 1-2 months before the event (depending on the type of contract you get). She was available via phone and email and spent ample time with me at site visits and mock table setups, truly more that what was outlined in her contract. And trust me when I say that those additional months of contact make a big difference. There is nothing worse than signing all the vendor contracts and then have your coordinator/planner come into the picture and you realize you could've done better. She also initiated contracts with our vendors that she recommended and it was nice to have her as the main contact person for some of our vendors. She recommended quality and reliable vendors throughout the process. I can truly say that Nahid is professional, experienced, and world class. My parents and I attended most of the in-person meet ups with Nahid together. I have parents that were very particular in their likes/dislikes and Nahid was respectful of their opinions. I loved how Nahid asked me what details were most important to me. She made note of them and ensured they were carried out the day of the wedding. The entire wedding day stayed on time, she was great at this and all my guests commented on how they've never seen a wedding so organized and timely. I wanted the day to start at 9:30am and it started at 9:27am. I wanted dancing to start at 10pm and that's exactly when it started. My guests were shocked and really enjoyed that for once, things happened on time at an Indian wedding. There are few planners who will keep you updated on the timeline during the event and Nahid did just that. I feel like I put so much pressure on Nahid during this event. We had a parting gift that we wanted to be given to most of our guests and she carried it out. I also had disputes with the catering manager at our venue and she ensured that the communication continued to move even if I didn't want to be the one to directly communicate with him. On the day of the wedding, she ensured my husband and I ate and were resting in the break. The dance floor/DJ closed at midnight and she was there beyond 1am getting all of our supplies back to us in an organized fashion. She does her best to not bother the bride/groom unless necessary.
