I spoke in the best German I could (I am English but live in the area) and a local man at the bar tried to explain to her as well. However she kept repeating that we had received our drinks and avoided making eye contact with me. After several minutes of this my friend and I left. This soured our experience of what could be a delightful little pub and I doubt I will ever return. I advise anyone considering a drink in the area not to bother with this place, well definitely not if there is an elderly woman at the bar, and to always ensure you receive your drink before you pay for it.

I found Feldmann's to be the nicest and easiest place to stop by for an after-work beer (or two, if I was lucky) during my business trip. The people were friendly, and service was nice, and the view was beautiful. it was very relaxing to sit and sip, and to mangle the German language with mine terrible Deutsch!
