I purchased the Husky camping stove "bench" out of last minute necessity while traveling in Iceland…read more(I was going broke due to insanely expensive everything in that country and had to camp and cook for myself in order to finish the rest of my Euro trip). Even in Iceland the price was reasonable, about $50. The three base arms fold out and are very sturdy and completely supported my pots (4 1/2 inch dia.) and I never had to worry about tipping them. The most amazing thing about it was how small and compact it is, and how much POWER it has for such a small stove. I recently went camping in Big Sur, California and decided to try making pancakes using a regular kitchen pan (7 1/4 inch dia.) to test its heating capacity and HOLY COW!! I was able to make nearly perfectly evenly cooked pancakes! Just remember its not made for kitchen pans and I had to off-set the pan so it wouldn't fall. It comes with a sturdy pouch and the whole thing fits within the palm of my hand, and I have small hands! Its light weight (about 70g) with no compromise to the quality of the materials. I am currently getting ready for the John Muir Trail and this will definitely be my stove for the multi week camping trek!
