Make the effort to visit this fascinating museum devoted to the traditional methods of salt production. It's situated down a simple gravel road but located in a modern building. From their roof top you can survey the salt pans. The movie has sound but no English narration unless their guide talks to you, which was our case--very educational to learn about how the water flows through evaporators and then crystallization. How it is harvested and this particular sea salt which seems to have a very high concentration of naturally occurring iodine. You can buy local products as well.
