So the restaurant is a good deal larger than it appears at first sight. The service was perfect and was not uncomfortable by a mixed language group (In-laws speak neither English nor German). The waiter handled everything graciously, brought the baby-chair for our little one (as soon as it was free) without the need for a reminder. The potatoes were not hot when they arrived, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. The cucumber salad partnered well with the fried schnitzel, balancing the heaviness. The berry compote that sat on the table, provided a slightly sweet and sour edge to the breaded chicken. I tried the pepper corn sauce also. I usually do not enjoy sweet with my savory, but the berry compote was just tart enough to be worth the risk.

I used to live in Frankfurt back in the 80s and love German cuisine. I am from Galveston Tx but all the quote unquote German Restaurants suck. The only one hat was great unfortunately closed. They didn't have the oopa music and wait staff dressed in lederhosen. So anytime I come back I will eat here. Food is great
