What an absolute dream of a vineyard and wine tasting experience we had at Menard Gaborit! This has been a family-owned winery specializing in the Muscadet since the 1700s. The company is now run by two brothers, and they have a little tasting room adjacent to the vineyard. If you haven't tried Muscadet - it is an amazing, refreshing, crisp and crushable white wine that will have you feeling like you're on vacation. We sampled a bunch of their varieties and were able to purchase bottles to enjoy the rest of their vacation. The winemakers wife was our tour guide, and shared charming family stories from the winemakers history, which made me love each bottle we opened more.
