We walked here from our nearby hotel to shop at Rewe as we needed some grocery items. This is a mall next to the JW Marriott. It has 6 floors of mainly stores with the 4th floor being mainly restaurants. Tonight we came back to MyZeil for dinner at a restaurant in the foodtopia area on the 4th floor. It is a mall that you most likely will swing by if you're staying in the downtown area. They have a food court, a bookstore, electronics, a movie theater, and popular American brand stores. There's also security, making it safe, and most of the store staff can speak English. Note that the restrooms charge 50 cents per visit. :) read more

This review is not about shopping At the mall, rather than for the shopping mall itself overall. First of all, if you are American, it is worth stopping here just for the bathroom on the top floor in the food hall- Yes, it is $.50. Of course we're not used to paying for bathrooms in America but we are also used to potentially horrible conditions in public bathrooms in general. And you were up in specifically in Germany you pay for public bathrooms because there are people there, whose job it is to keep them clean. Also, this is the Versailles of public bathrooms, mirrors, murals, Another elegant details. Make this a welcome, stop while shopping or sightseeing. Since this shopping mall is located in the tourist epicenter of Frankford you might as well enjoy its facilities And come to Wonder at its fabulous post, modern architecture. There are myriad of escalators to go up and down through the maze of sculptural space. It's a nice break from the church tour you might be on. The smoker section on the top floor next to the bathroom, also affords an interesting view over the roofs of adjoining buildings. Modern and old alike. The architecture is beautifully modern with an opening that goes right through the mall, but isn't really open inside the mall..... The front and ceiling of the mall are made of tinted windows which allow tons of natural, but not glaring light inside the space. Such a difference from the typical American florescent lit experience. Anyway, we came here for one specific reason, and that was to buy a T-shirt for my husband, to represent Eintracht Frankfurt, our friend's favorite FuBball (soccer) team. Decent size mall for Europe. Somewhat small compared to malls in the USA. It doesn't get too crowded. Variety of stores and eatery but nothing spectacular. Fairly clean and close proximity to other restaurants. read more

This place is pretty grand, the design of the glass housing is pretty cool to take a look at. Amongst the stroll of the shopping area that surrounds this mall, stopping in is surely worth a gander. But nether the less it is a mall and most of the shops close by by 9pm which unfortunately I did not get a chance to check out, the shops that is. I came here a bit after 10pm was greeted by the lobby attendee when the shopping crowd is gone but people still remain because they were hosting an event. It's worth a view downward from the top. It's a nice mall that's it. read more

Best, most exquisite mall that I have ever been in or laid my eyes on. Love the architecture which is just mind blowing. The layout is great as well. My favorite part is the escalator that takes you from ground to top floor! What a ride. Excellent selection of stores here as well, from medium to high end. read more

I'm usually not a fan of malls but I have to say MyZeil is a nice one! The architecture is quite stunning and all this natural light makes it very pleasant to shop there. You don't feel confined as you sometimes do in shopping malls. Concerning the shops, you can find many of the usual ones as well as a big Saturn and a fitness club. On the top floor, there's a very good ice cream shop that sells ice cream rolls :) read more

One of the many malls in the Zeil shopping district. Not much of a variety of stores in side this mall - seemingly there were a lot of shops that just had multiple levels. A must do - is a trip all the way to the top floor, where there is also a food court - dominated by Asian cuisine - to view the unique glass wall ceiling that funnels all the way down to the ground floor. Even cooler when it is raining, and you can spend a good amount of time marveling at the water trickle and spiral down column. read more

The place is not as big as I thought it would be. There is a longest elevator that I have ever seen though. I think it took us around 3' to get from the bottom to the top of the elevator. So if you want to visit all the floors, don't use that one, it will only take you to the highest floor :). Store selections: pretty random and a bit boring. not many brand name stores as they are located outside of the mall. They do have free wifi in the mall, but it was hard to find a comfortable chair to sit at. I went up to the highest floor and found a chair, which belong to one of the restaurant I think, therefore, I got some big stink eye stared at me the whole time. I felt uncomfortable, so I walked around and found kind of a chair thing on the 2nd floor to sit. They have a buffet on the highest floor as well, called Mongol. The price for dinner on week day is 9.8 eur, if you want to try a little bit of everything :). Overall, cool to see the structure but was not impressed with the store varieties. read more

There is a big 'ol glass hole in this building. That's about all that really mattered to me at the time. Didn't really go there to shop. But much like other Frankfurt supercenters, Myzeil had floors upon floors of shops and stores. Restaurants are on the top floor the appliance/electronic superstore Saturn is on the 4th floor. read more

Amazing architecture, with a huge hole inside the glass front of the MyZeil building. Its inside is not less amazing, spacious enough for many shops, some of them more or less famous. Most frequent use goes for local supermarket REWE for city residents. read more

For architecture alone MyZiel ranks toppermost of all the shopping malls I've seen, and indeed it was only its crazy appearance that lured me in as I sauntered along the Ziel on a sunny April afternoon. The front of the building looks smashed up, like a giant football veered wildly off course and caused a little accident. Glittering blueish glass surrounds the cleverly constructed dent and the big ideas continue inside with swooping curves of glass arching above shoppers' heads. With its medium to large branded stores MyZiel isn't the sort of place I'd spend time shopping, but it was fun going up and up the escalators, craning my neck to take in as much of the architecture as I could and snapping a few pictures along the way. Lower down the culmination of the intricate design is a sort of chute in the centre, which looked as though it could very easily fill with water if it rained. I'm sure the architect made allowances for that sort of thing, but I still reckon MyZiel would be an interesting place to shelter in a storm. read more

It's really not that interesting. I assumed that the architecture must be amazing, but it's just average. The stores are also very normal, basic stores. I wouldn't suggest anyone to visit unless they have never been to a German mall before. read more

Great place to shop! If you go to the main mall part there will be multiple levels to the place. Plus as an added bonus. There are many shops on the outside as well. If you like to shop I definitely would recommend going here. read more

Lived in Frankfurt for half a year but I don't remember a time when I bought something from MyZeil except for groceries; most of the stores here are a bit on the expensive side for my taste as a unpaid intern at the time. But I love the architecture of this place; it's crazy and funky and adds a random "eempf" to the Zeil! read more

The building itself very Futuristic. The stores very yesterday. They need more stores in this very huge wasted space. I only like supermarket in basement. I traveled all over the world and unlike UK or Other Euro Nations except Swiss nothing on Sunday here. I love watching Street Perfomers outside of this Mall. read more
