Please, please DO NOT LISTEN to the review below me!!! I'm here to spread the word about the museum!!! Totally an amazing, wonderful and beautiful experience by a very soulful, passionate artist and wonder named Pepe Soho. He tells his story about his journey battling a neurological disease/disorder from his accident falling from a horse, his depression etc. how he used his love for photography to get to where he is now. Every exhibit has a heartfelt message about his candidate shots and even his old cameras. The staff were incredible and I took some wonderful videos of my husband and I holding hands and exchanging a kiss. Oscar and his wife were two people I resonated with who shared me a very intimate story of losing their son-- only 13 days of being on this earth. I cried in 3 exhibits, because the immersive, animations of each art piece comes to life and they move.
There is opportunity for meditation, reflections, inspiration and ideas to come to life! The gift shop offers bookmarks, coffee cups, magnets, pocket art kits, posters and stickers! I bought 1000 pesos worth of things: some incense that is Palo Santo, with an adorable, purple incense holder. I also got some stickers with most of their art pieces, a cellphone stand holder and pens.
The staff were very helpful and even voiced that their museum had only been opened for 2 years and not a lot of the tourists know of this place. I'm here to share an authentic review with all of you, that this place is AMAZING! The tickets were 900 pesos for 2 and it was well worth it. There are about 10 exhibits and it took us an 1 and half for all of it. There is available wifi and every person's experience is different. Definitely come to this unforgettable experience.
