Coyote Supply - Tarot cards etc

I didn't know such a store was in Reno! This is located in an unassuming area, but is very clean…read moreand welcoming. A good friend who is practicing witchcraft introduced me to this store and it was more than I expected. Not only does it sell various witch items, but it also sells nontoxic, zero waste products like soaps, lotions etc. And many of them support other small businesses. My favorite part is the gum ball machine that had small tarot cards inside. While I'm not well versed in this, the owner kindly explained the meaning and it was rather accurate to me at the time. So even if witchcraft isn't something I practice, I had a taste about a different culture by being here and browsing the unique items!

Coyote Supple Co is located inside the brick building, upstairs, in a small suite. Unless you are…read morespecifically looking for this eco-conscious, witchy shop, then you will probably walk by without even noticing. This tiny shop is worth a quick stop if you are in this corner of Midtown even if you are not super witchy. The shop keepers were super friendly and welcoming! There were 3 things that stood out to me about this little shop. 1) I was surprised to find a pretty decent selection of eco-conscious bath and home products, including Stasher Bags in various sizes and colors. 2) There is a TerraCycle recycle box for difficult to recycle containers (like makeup). I wish these were available at more businesses! These recycle boxes are not free to the businesses that have them, so keep that in mind. 3) Griselda, the Tarot card gum-ball machine! 50 cents will get you the cutest miniature tarot reading. There is a handy book next to the tarot-ball machine so that you can interpret your card. In addition to my favorite things above, Coyote Supply Co also has spiritual incense and candles, eco-conscious cleaning products, health and beauty products, and small gifts like cards, pins, and stickers.

The Ravens realm is the best spiritual/ witchcraft store in Reno. All of the staff are fantastic…read moreand are very good about answering questions about your spiritual journey. The store itself is stocked with a plethora of different items all at a good price too. I got many herbs and candles the last time I was there. They also have meet ups their for people in the community to get together and discuss their way of craft. 10/10 would recommend.

I rang the doorbell and after a small wait the owner…read moreopened the door for me, didn't greet me or say a word to me, then took the "Open" sign from the front step and put it inside right after I walked in. I spent around 15 minutes looking around while she stood behind the counter and counted change with her back to me, except when I was looking at the items closest to her counter when she turned around, heaved a big sigh and checked her watch, then turned her back to me again. I ended up just leaving with around 30 minutes still to spare before closing with a lot I still wanted to look at because of how deliberate her "get out" attitude was. I would have much rather her tell me she's already closed and to come back another day. But again, it was still WELL before closing, so I didn't understand her attitude. It's a cute little shop and the first time I visited, around a year ago, she was kinder. I personally won't be back because of how awkward and honestly rude this last experience was. If you plan to visit then make sure to come hours before closing for everyone's sake.

Such a cute hole in the wall…read more We made it just in time for it to not be closed!! The vibes are so good and pretty big selection. They had different crystals, lavender, sage, etc. There's an upstairs selling books as well (which I didn't get to see). But overall such a cute experience definitely coming back soon

Thanks to Google search I found the correct address in midtown. * I suggested an edit for the business and the address on Yelp is now up to date. I came to Crystal Cove in search of rings, bracelets, and earrings. I have enough crystals in other forms to sink a ship, but it's always nice to browse. I was greeted by the lady behind the counter. She did some small talk asking me about how my holiday season was. Then she gave too much information about her and her family. She said I was free to look around and to let her know if I needed any help. She gave me a tiny wicker basket for shopping. The place is very small and it is packed with glass shelves so I had to be mindful of how I moved around the store. There were signs letting you know that you were being watched and to "Smile". I get it, tiny items can easily be shoplifted, but the cameras kind of take away the zen feeling. I found a case with a few trays of rings that I wanted to look at and try on. I asked the employee for help. At that time there were at least two other shoppers in the store and it was getting a bit packed. So I took the tray to the main counter thinking that way I would have more space to try on the rings and she could keep a closer eye on the other customers. She told me no. So she and I huddled next to each other as I tried on rings under her watchful eye. It felt very awkward. I quickly chose a ring, paid, and left. While I was checking out she again asked me how my holiday was. She also made a negative comment about the city of Reno. I don't plan on returning. I can find crystal jewelry and the farmers market and while I am traveling.
