My first time there was for a very hum interesting contemporary dancing show, I also went to an awesome concert with a very cool local band and most recently I went to a play and a stand-up comedy show...in short, the programming at the MAI is very eclectic. As any other theater, they have a little bar in the main room with local beers which are very affordable but really my highlight of that place is that they always have great exhibitions from local artists. If you're in the area and enjoy artsy stuff you should definitely check out their programming!
