It was a bit wet when we arrived on our train from Oslo. Most of train exited and headed directly inside the station at the same time. So happy we used PorterService to ship our bags ahead as there wasn't enough inside seating for everyone. Benches were eventually used outdoors but at least covered.
The only cafe onsite was very busy selling coffees, hot dogs, cakes, instant noodles, etc. The WCs were located next to the cafe.
The views outside were limited but promising for what we'd see on the decent down the mountain.
Seating on the Flåm portion of the train trip was open so as soon as the train pulled in people were already lining up before the train was emptied of the original passengers.
The ride down to Flåm had a little more sites to see from the left side.
Not much else to do in Myrdal though I saw some people walking on the other side of the track. Not sure where the entry point was from the station. read more
Came by the Myrdal station to transfer to the Flam Railways and it was a quick and easy experience. My long distance train from Bergen stopped at Track 1 and my Flam train was on the other side of the platform at Track 11.
There are WC, cafes, and vending machines inside. The views are spectacular! read more
