I keep coming here and I don't know why. I guess it's because I'm use to it?? When they first opened up they were great! Now it seems like they just want to get you in and out as fast as they can. I've always just come here for pedicures.... you can't beat the price. There a man with a baseball cap that works there and will cut you up and beat the living crap out of your feet and legs. I normally don't do this, or write reviews but I felt I had to write one. I just got a "manicure" from here and they got me in and out in less than 20 mins. The downside, it was rushed! The guy that did my manicure and gel color spent more time on his phone than my nails. He kept checking his phone. All he did was take off my old color and put on the new gel coat. Where was the actual "manicure"? He didn't soak, or clean, pushed my cuticles or trim them. There were no extra work done in completing my nails. The gel coat painted on my nails was horrible. He didn't paint the full nail and my nails already look like it's grown out. During my 20 mins there, they rudely turned down walk in. I understand if they're over booked with appointments but there was no professionalism in turning away their walk in customers. I could've done what he did to my nails at home. I assume a manicure would consist of these things, which is what you normally get going to any nail salon. I just moved to Turlock and was looking for a nail salon close to my home. I came here because my usual place was busy and i hadn't made an appointment. Long story short, the process took 2 hours for a full set with coffin which is longer than i've ever been im the chair, so naturally you would think that the nails are flawless. i had to tell the tech multiple times that my nails were crooked and he couldn't tell they were crooked. Fast forward to today which is Saturday and I just got them done on WEDNESDSY. My left index finger and thumb nails have fallen off as if they were not glued on well enough or buffed enough. i want to ask for a refund but the downside is that i just left the area to come back home from college for summer. i would not recommend coming here. read more

This is my go to spot for eyebrows. Yes. Eyebrows. The girl who does them is amazing and you can't beat the $8 price. I never would have thought this would become my holy grail for eyebrows until I was in dire need of getting them waxed and decided too after a pedicure. Best. Eyebrow shaping. Ever! I enjoy the pedicures here too. The color never chips off my toes even after its grown out. I usually get the hot stone pedicure. Super relaxing and they take their time massaging your feet/calves. They also have a paraffin pedicure, another pedicure that includes a foot/leg clay mask, and the basic simple pedicure. Can get busy on the weekends, especially as the weather becomes warmer. read more

I am a loyal customer for manicure and pedicure. In the beginning they did push me to purchase the more "fancy" mani and pedi packages but now that I frequent often they know always what I am going to get and never hassle me. I like all of them but my favorites are no doubt Phillip and Henry. For some magic reason when Phillip does my mani, it always last longer than any other staff or even any other salon. He is there on the weekend only and they are always busy (because they are good). I usually bring my own polish however they have a decent (not great) selection of polishes but they always look old and dry. It is annoying to wait even though I usually set an appointment ahead of time and they never can do both mani and pedi at the same time so everytime i get my mani and pedi done it takes 2.5 hours of my day so if you are in a hurry please spend a little more and go elsewhere. read more

I usually have no problem here, I've been coming here for pedicures and my eyebrows for quite sometime. Although this place lacks tactful decor , I've always been impressed with customer service . I made an appointment today for my eyebrows at 330 . Arrived at 330 to be told " come back at 5, we are busy". Once I was allowed to explain that I couldn't come back at 5, and that I had already made an appointment , they all began talking to each other and somehow decided to squeeze me in . Little did I know I would be getting somebody who probably never waxes eyebrows . She completely messed them up , left wax on my eyes , and had no idea what she was doing . I have been doing shellac nails for years now on my fingers. Never I mean never I have had such a bad experience. Thomas did my nails I told him I was in a hurry because he had is co-worker stand next to us and talk so it made him work very slow. I was looking as he was painting my nails he was not painting the corners the color was right in the middle of my nail. I shows it to him he said second time when I paint it will cover. Then on my thumb finger he put so much polish that it was dripping I showed that to him and he just toke a paper towel and he wiped it off then he tried to color again at this point I was so upset that I said please let me go. For a cheap job they still charged me $16.00!!! Today I went and talked to the manager he said: that it was basically my fault I was in a hurry!!!! But really I was siting there if he had painted the right way and focused more on his customer he would of had done a better job. read more

Dont you love it when your manicure and pedicure have you feeling great! What a treat. Awesome pedicure done with great attention to detail. I recommend gel but I don't need it here as they make sure even your regular polish looks perfect and it lasts. Mine personally lasts up to a month without chipping! And just because I can't come in regularly or have elaborate choices, they still take very good care of me. I have been going to mymy nails for some time now and it has become one of my favorite places! The employees are extremely sweet and kind. Ask for henry! he does an awesome job. Mymy does amazing eyebrows and nails. They are not too pricey and are extremely helpful. In fact, just last week i walked in at 6:15 ish and asked for mymy but she wasn't there, so i was getting ready to head out when the lady called her and told me that she is on her way. Even though they were close to closing up the salon, she still drove down just to help out her customer. When she was doing my nails I told her she didnt have to come all this way I could have simply come in tomorrow and she kindly replied that its thanksgiving week and she thought maybe i wanted to look good for the week. Horrible.....I went into this place by chance, just to see if they had any time for a pedi. They sat me down soaking my feet for over 30 minutes while finishing up other pedis. They were so rough with the trimming and the pedi itself, they made the side of 2 toenails bleed, and kept saying, so sorry, so sorry! After this painful experience was over, they sat me so my toenails would dry, they told the next lady to wait so they could clean out the tub, he grabbed the small brush, he just scrubbed my feet with no disinfectant and scrubbed it with water on. He then walked her over and sat her down! Since then, one of my nails are lifting from fungus. I'm so grossed out. Please ladies, do not be embarrassed to ask them to clean your tub out with disinfectant before they dip your feet in someone else's bacteria! I do not recommend. read more

Went in half hour before close on a Friday and Long did a fill. I am super happy with the outcome. He's very attentive to detail and takes his time! I would give zero stars if I could. First off, a male worker there made a few innappropriate jokes, and waited for my reacting leaving me to have to awkwardly laugh. I was extremely uncomfortable. Just to get a set of acrylics it took me an hour and 40 minutes. I have never had to sit that long. He cut my finger several times leaving spots bleeding onto the table. The plastic tips are so flimsy and cheap, and he barely used any tools. In fact, he was picking my skin around my nails with his fingertips. He also had no idea how to shape nails. They are all different lengths and sizes. He even was trying to sand down my skin to make the nails looks somewhat alike leaving me in pain. He charged me extra just to have them a certain shape, which didnt even turn out the way I asked. 38$ when both the board and website say otherwise! Very unhappy, and frankly disgusted. read more

Pretty standard vietnamese nail salon where the manicurists don't speak English and don't really socialize with you BUT the quality is awesome. I've never been disappointed. Looks like they renovated the place and so it is a lot more welcoming and cleaner than before. I went to get a pedicure done here and at first it was awkward because it was quiet and they weren't speaking English to each other so I felt a little uncomfortable but eventually more people came in and the guy giving me the pedicure started talking to me.
