I stayed here on a Friday night and overall here are the main pros and cons: Pros: Parking! There was a very small parking lot, but I was able to find a spot every time I came and went, which seems a luxury around here. Quiet- for a Friday night, the area was super quiet. No noise from the streets or from the other rooms. Essentials- has everything you need- hairdryer, iron, water, toiletries, TV, etc. Breakfast- not the best, but it held me over until lunch. Cons: concrete floors! Maybe it's just me, but I did not like the lack of carpet. At least I brought my socks and the heater works. Location- there wasn't much within walking distance. I'm not mad at that, just something to be aware if if you're not from the area. Bed- not luxurious. I'm a bit more picky than usual since I'm 6 months pregnant, but I could use more pillows. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would come here again. Definitely good quality for such a low price. read more

BEDBUGS!!!!!!!!!!! and don't expect to be helped with anything!! i would give zero stars if i could. i found a bedbug at dang near 4AM. i called front desk and they tell me they can move me to a different room. mind you it's four in the morning and my things are everywhere. they offer me nothing for LITERALLY BEDBUGS. not even a SMALL discount for the wild inconvenience of packing and moving all my stuff past the homeless guy outside in the dead middle of the night. NOTHING. then i go to the kiosk and the guy is COMPLETELY unhelpful describing where my room is. ITS FOUR IN THE MORNING. he's like left. the staff room. it's the next room over. ITS NOT THE NEXT ROOM OVER. it's through a door, a hallway, and another door, and then it's to the left. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BUILDING. would've been nice if after all i had to deal with because of BEDBUGS !!!!!!!! if i had any help at all locating my new room besides the repeated instructions over and over as im hauling bags!!!! and the cherry on top? straight up piece of gum stuck to the nightstand in the new room. they charge a $50 deposit, of course i called them to tell them it was there so they wouldn't not refund. since they're in the business of being cheap. i wouldn't recommend this place to a rat! read more

This is the worst hotel listed in daly city. My building burned about a week ago and I was desperate looking for a place to stay with my family and I came across Mylo hotel. I booked three nights. One hour after I booked this hotel I received a call from HSA saying that they were going to help us so I went to the hotel and explain my situation but because I booked though Expedia the hotel told me that I had to talk to them. So I called Expedia and they were so nice to try to help me but the hotel didn't wanted to help me. I just went to the hotel and they refuse to help me. I told them this was a hard situation for me. I have two kids one that is 9 years old and one that is 7 and I explain we need led that money to eat. Any good heart person that can be sensitive to situations like this in life would understand how hard is to be homeless with two small children and the uncertainty and the stress that a house fire causes. I am devastated from the heartless responses I received from the people working at this hotel. I believe the owners because they where in the office doing office work and look like a dad and two sons. I would never come back to this hotel or recommend it to anybody, specially to people in hard situations like mine. read more

Worst hotel I have stayed at in years. Got there 9pm on Monday (5/4/26). It is not a hotel. It is a motor lodge with a paint job. The lobby was a closet size room with no one there. You check in on a remote terminal. I was third on line and it took 20 minutes to check in the first two people. When it got to me they did not have my reservation (which was booked through my company travel website). Finally a live human turned up and had me book my room for 2 nights. In addition to your credit card they take a $50 deposit. That is how sketchy this place is. The room was horrible. The bar of soap was the size of a quarter. (Seriously, I am not exaggerating.) The floor was linoleum that was laid pre-2000. Then on my second night my key did not work. It was 10:30 pm and the "lobby" was locked. I rang the bell for 5 minutes, no answer. Then I called the number on the door and got an automated message and put on hold. Then a person would pick up and hang up on me. This happened 6 times in a row. This was the worst experience ever. I've stayed he a couple of times in the past. I booked for my son and his family. They accommodated my request to change check in day and late check in. Unfortunately, when they arrived they were told the reservation was canceled because they didn't show up. They were notified multiple times they would be arriving late because it was a long drive from San Diego, they assured me it was not a problem. They were told they had a room available (the one they canceled) but it would be more money. At this point they don't have an option but to pay since it's the middle of the night and they have my 6 year old grandson. I called to speak to someone and was told it's their policy to cancel if they don't show, even when they had been notified they would arrive late. We called an hour or so before they arrived and they said not to worry. Which is why I don't understand why they would cancel without calling. They said they did but no calls were received. I mentioned we called minutes before they arrived but no one answered. Her response was she was busy checking walk in customers and couldn't answer. So she was too busy to answer and was with customer but had the time to cancel the reservation? The difference in cost was significant, $88. Unbelievable that we had to pay walk in price with an active reservation. The reservation was never cancelled on booking.com. It now shows as completed, when it never was. I have reached out to booking.com since dealing with mylo hotel directly was useless. I will never stay here again nor recommend anyone to this place. read more

We had a room beside the Main Street And just getting in the room it smelled bad. Being a motel couldn't expect anything good but a minimum cleanness standard. The cushions were filthy, the floor looked just as filthy. The door could not be locked and our neighbors in the room beside us were smoking pot with the door open. We felt unsafe. The shade did not cover completely so my husband had to place some jackets to feel safe. The service totally impersonal and when I asked a change of room to the inner part of the Motel, they asked negatively. On our second morning, the coffeee keurig didn't work. I don't even know how they have 3 stars. They barely should have one star. We had to buy separate bar of soap because they barely offered a little bar. The Hotel's average nightly price is $80. For $80 it would have been 3, maybe 4 stars, but they jacked up their prices to $250 a night for the weekend of Opensauce. This is NOT a $250 a night hotel. It is a $80 a night hotel in need of renovation. The room was adequate. The bed was clean, and that was greatly appreciated. The bathroom window had a hole in the screen. Our chair was threadbare. The pillows were okish. We were on the 2nd floor, 2 staircases the only way to get to the room. You check in at the window, a left over from the 50's. We did not use their housekeeping in the 4 days we were there, and were annoyed that they only use flat sheets. They don't stay tucked in. I was glad to camp out there against the storm, but just know before you go: No carpet, cracked painted walls, scratched linoleum flooring, super thin walls. Probably the worst hotel I have ever been to. I stayed here with my husband we went to a local event. The parking lot looks sketchy. The customers were just as questionable. We witnessed a women come park in the parking lot and pick up "something " from one of the rooms. The women just went up to door and the man opened it and handed her "something" then she walked off back to her car. Literally just saw a drug deal. The room smelled of heavy urine. The floor was cement and had a bunch of scratches on it in one spot like something was clawing at the floor. Couldn't stay here. We choose to leave and try to contact management and never got a clear answer when she was coming in. Myra was the manager. The next day, I did receive a call the next day, but it wasn't in regards to the concerns I had with the room or getting my money back. Basically, the counter guy called to see if we were going to stay another night?? Like what? I let him know that we had checked out soon after we arrived. I also asked him if I could speak to the manager because we were told that she would be in the morning. The first conversation I had with him he said she was going to be in at 3 PM and that he would get back to us but never did. So I called him back 20 min later and again asked if he ever spoke to the manager. He told us that he never heard anything from the manager and couldn't do anything for us unless he got a confirmation from her. All in all horrible unprofessional, no accountability for how the conditions were in the room and honestly just don't stay here. Our first time here & thought it was adequate but not great. Being a small boutique hotel it has its charms & inherent flaws. We appreciated the complimentary parking which is a rarity in any SF area hotels. The lot was inside the hotel courtyard so we felt safer. There are about 19 tight parking spots which is an excellent ratio for a 36-room hotel. You can park on the street at your own peril, but beware of street cleaning days. Check in was prompt & efficient even though we were 2 hr early. There were ice water & solid coffee available 24/7 inside the small office, that's also where you can grab the breakfast in a box, there is no designated "dining area" for guests. The boutique hotel is the byproduct of a renovated old building, so you will hear the stairs & floors creak. All of the king sized rooms are located in the back instead of next to the main street (Geneva) so they are more "quiet". That said there were still obnoxious car & motorcycle noises deep into the night. We can also hear when neighbors cough, talk or move about next door & above us. Car alarms in the parking lot went off twice in the middle of the night. Overall there were much excitements on this Saturday nite. Room was small but adequate, bed was medium firm, pillows & comforters were a bit thin so we didn't get that plush feeling. There was a faint "old building" aroma in the room, but nowhere as obnoxious compared to some of the rotten motels I have stayed at. The small brown leather chair & the accent window curtains were a nice touch; a mini fridge & Keurig completed the furnishings. We saw no closet but there were a few hooks & hangers by the dress mirror. Thats also where you will find the hair dryer & ironing board. There were outlets & usp ports by the small side table. It took us a while to figure out how to operate the switch for the dimmable recess lights. Bathroom was relatively spacious & contained the basic essentials. Water pressure was low & temp was just warm at 10 am, i was told the water was "hotter" at night. We visited the area to sample local SF good eats so the complimentary BF was low on our priority. The cartoon box contained the basics: apple, Chobani yogurt, 4 very stale donut balls and one boiled egg that tasted slightly sour. The ladies at the office were courteous & helpful. I'm laying here right now. Third time tonight that this same asshole has set off their car horn and woken the entire motel up. Looks like some cholo. Inconsiderate and the sound of the horn goes right through the paper thin walls. It jolted me from my sleep and I grabbed my gun the first time out of surprise/shock/thinking it was robbery. I've stayed here a couple times already since 2019. I never had an issue. A subtle hotel room. Check in is very simple just sign a few documents and if you have a vehicle make sure you list it on the documents I guess for parking purposes. They have treats down stairs but always ate out for breakfast anyways. The bed is 8/10 comfortable not very much to complain about. They have hot water/ Ac unit you can set to your liking. A little coffee marker if you choose to make coffee. I believe there is some rooms with a kitchenette never stayed in those usually go for the basics. I personally love this hotel it's very welcoming for a good pricey close to the city of San Francisco, very easy for Uber/ Lyfts to find you. You get what you pay for. It's a cheap, rundown hotel that feels more like a sketchy motel. The receptionists are always rude and the manager is a stickler but neglectful of guests' concerns or issues. The rooms are dirty and dingy. Definitely wouldn't recommend staying here during the pandemic with how poorly housekeeping "cleans." The towels in our room were stained and we found a hair interwoven in the towel. Very unsanitary and disgusting. The bedsheets were also stained upon observation. There was blood stains on the curtain. The walls are very thin and everything echoes. You can hear the other guests slam doors all day and night. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere. There are better deals and better hotels in the area. You can find another cheap hotel that's better quality in all aspects. Also, all the COVID-19 protocol is completely FALSE. I stayed for two nights and left the i look and they charged me $35 to wash there own towels that i cleaned there floor with they said the charge was because they were dirty . So, so, so disappointed! I made a reservation with an online company. I called the Mylo to inform them of my late arrival - that I was up driving from Los Angeles. I was told it wouldn't be an issue at all - that someone was on duty 24/7. When I arrived at 3:00am I was told my room had been re-booked & re-sold. The good news is that I was able to find another AMAZING hotel at 4:00am - The Urban - they were kind and more than happy to accommodate me. This hotel was definitely an experience. Ofcourse for a lower price you should expect lower quality, but I'd say the quality here was super bad. For starters, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled and therefore had to rebook all within hours of check-in. The phone number on their website and yelp (and many other various sites) would not go through/not pick up. I would be told to enter a code but could not get in contact with anyone at the front desk or through email in terms of my reservation. (This will be brought up again later). Upon arrival, it's more of a motel than a hotel, just called a hotel. We received our cards and I also brought up my problem with my cancellation and was offered a full refund due to the inconvenience. Once we got to our room, that was roughly 15 feet from the reception desk, it definitely expressed why the cost was so low. The floors were made of some concrete/plaster material that showed all the mud and footsteps of anyone ever entering the room. The door would close but there was a gap between the gram and the actual door meaning it got pretty chilly pretty easily. Along with that, being on the first floor, you'd hope for relatively good privacy right? Not here, the "curtains" only closed and covered about a quarter of the wall where the windows were? There were blinds but those also had gaps so people could definitely look into our room if they wanted to. Not sure what the point of even having the curtains was. The restroom was by far the nicest part. Super clean, nice bath, all pretty tidy there. I went to lay down and that's where I ran into my next problem. The sheets looked like they were stained. Not sure with what, there were small droplet marks and dirt stained all over the sheets, blanket, and pillowcase and even towels. It felt super gross to lay down so I went to reception and asked for a new clean set of bedding and towels, and was told that "there's no way your bedding is dirty. We get new shipments of clean, freshly washed bedding every time there's a new customer, and each room only gets one set." Due to this, I was only offered a new pillowcase but no new towel or set of sheets/blanket. They told me that there was no way that anything could be dirty but I insisted and they just denied. (I'm including the pics below). The sheets were also horribly torn, and the walls were extremely thin to where we could hear the neighbor screaming, grunting, yelling, and being overly loud to where I attempted to call the front desk but the lines wouldn't go through. It turns out that the same line that I called in the room, was the line that I'd posted online in the websites. Lastly, I tried to make some soup and the coffee maker had mold in the water compartment therefore I ended up having to microwave my food. The microwave was actually a pretty nice part of the "hotel". Lastly, as I mentioned earlier, I had trouble with a cancellation and was told I'd get refunded for the confusion. THEY ENDED UP CHARGING ME ANYWAYS AND I HAD TO FILE A CLAIM TO GET REIMBURSED. Overall, won't be staying here ever again, learned my lesson that putting more money to the budget is worth it, and hope you all choose not to go here. read more

The rooms have no furniture. You cannot unpack your suitcase because there is nowhere to put your cloths. There are no blankets for the bed.

This hotel is such a disappointment. It's close to the Cow Palace which is it's only positive. Negatives - parking is $10/night. This is very hard to find on booking sites. Spaces are narrow and one side of the car or the other can't open the door fully. - No human at the front desk. They have this kiosk with some person in a remote country to answer your question. It can scan your license, charge your CC and check you in, but not much else except apologize. Need a Do Not Disturbed sign? "I'm sorry, sir" plastic bag for the ice bucket? "I'm sorry, sir" tell the maids to not make up your room? "I'm sorry, sir. I'll send them a message". During the day you use the kiosk. At night there is a person, but they don't know anything (see below) - The stairs are a death trap. Some kind of composite decking that is even and bowed. We tried on it several times. - sign on front of hotel say HBO in every room. Couldn't find it in TV. Asked at front desk. I don't know anything about that. You'll have to ask the manager on Monday, two days after I check out. Room feels claustrophobic, yet bathroom is larger than needed. I show up, I'm displeased off the bat being told I have to pay for parking at this trash can of a little hotel. They say there's no more spots and I could park on the street (Where transients are roaming drunk and yelling in the middle of the night). So on top of needing to pay to park at a motel, not having parking spots for each room is beyond unsatisfactory. Who wants to walk down the street with luggage. Not me! I get in the room and off the bat I'm grossed out by the floors. They are a dirty green laminate that is resting on concrete. The TV did not work even after fiddling with it. The lights turned on at 7:30 on the dot on their own. Called the front desk to explain how displeased I was and I told them I expect a partial refund for all the issues. They told me to take it up with the external booking service and that I wasn't going to get a dollar back. She hung up on me and I'm extremely upset with this booking. Don't go here. It's a quiet place to rent here I only stayed here one day and The staff was easy but the opening was okay it's not bad at all. I had to give you a two star because you guys over charged me on my credit cards and I didn't like it and of course I have proof of how much you guys took out of my bank accounts. This review is only on Racquel. This is my second stay at Mylo, other than dealing with her this place is great. I remember her my last stay, very cold and unfriendly. My latest encounter was signing my new reservation that another employee arranged for me, that included an extended stay rate and an compensation for not having hot water for two days. Racquel proceeded to tell me those rates were not approved and there was no hot water because people were taking showers at the same time. I asked when would be a good time to shower, because I'm usually showering in the afternoon, of course she couldn't give me an answer. This hotel is so cool. My boyfriend and I recently had to relocate because we discovered some black mold in our apartment. The hotel was extremely accommodating with a last minute booking. It's a perfect size and the decor is modern. The kitchenette is perfect but unfortunately there's no oven, just two burners and a microwave. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is a great size. The walls are quite thin however and I can hear everyone walking by. I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back if need be. read more

Once a week I stay in Daly city so that I can make a meeting without having to do the commute from the Central Valley. I cannot believe this place has decent ratings the area is infected with transients or obviously under the influence. Parking is not included they charge $10 extra to park within the grounds and it is obviously not safe to park on the street due to their transients. The secure lock that hotel doors usually have was missing there was a lot of late night activity including the room next to mine for individuals partying all night long including when I left at 8 o'clock in the morning I called the office several times to complain however all they did was call the room next to mine but of course they didn't answer and no follow up from the office. I did not sleep very well I will never visit this hotel again and unless you were here to party I would not recommend this hotel read more

DO NOT COME TO MYLO. MANAGER DOESNT DO ANYTHING BUT KEEPS YOUR MONEY AND EMPOLYEES WITH HORRIBLE ATTITUDE PROBLEMS On Saturday I got a room at Mylo and didn't check in until after 4pm. I got to my room on the bottom floor and now I've been over charged on a room that was damaged and smelled like cigarettes asked if I can get another room but since I checked in later than 3 they did not have another room available. I left early because I didn't feel comfortable in that room. Now I check my bank statements and see they are over charging me $150 for smoking and damages. When I called to speak to the manager all he said was call back when the other manager shows up after 4pm. But I was speaking to the manager. He told me he's not giving me my money back because of the smell in the room and I had told him I have my witness who was with me in the room who will agree that we left early and let the lady in the front know about how the room was. The manager was yelling at me cutting me off telling me well it's your fault you didn't ask for another room before 3pm. When I had already told him I didn't check in until after 5pm. This hotel use to be a nice getaway now that they changed it's horrible. You have managers yelling at the customers. Front desk people with messed up attitudes and rooms that smell like smoke. They say it's not smoking rooms but clearly ppl are smoking in them and not charging the correct parties the fee. read more

This place is not what the photos say. I am just fortunate that my family did not complain about living here. Truthfully, this place has the appearance of a motel, there is no lobby or common area for guest. Parking is first come and first serve and there are only about 11 or 12 spaces. I did meet a guest who got a parking ticket by parking overnight on the street. There offer a boxed breakfast which contains 4 tiny pieces of donut balls, Chobani Greek yoghurt, apple and a boiled egg. They do offer morsels of brownies, coffee and fruit flavored water at the reception, almost 24X7. If you are like me, who does not like any of what they put in the breakfast box, you will end up the brownies and the unnecessary calories that come with it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, sleeping mattress is firm than most hotels which is a good thing. Room is also clean and comfortable. By the way, all their double bed rooms are on the first floor and two of them are road facing. So you open the door and you face the traffic and the noise which sucks. So we had to switch our room to the rear side because none of us wanted to be next to the traffic pollution. read more

looking for a place to stay a little bit on the outskirt of SF? not minding a short drive into SF? don't be fooled. yes once you drive up to it, it doesn't look like much from the outside. and it definitely doesn't look like much from the parking lot. because as i pulled in my initial reaction was what in the world did i get myself into.... then when staff informed me that the AC and heater was not working. but they will offer extra blankets if i needed it made me even more hesitant. i wanted to run but it was too late as my CC was already charged. (would have preferred to have known this prior to booking). staff were nice enough to let me see my room as they probably sensed my uneasiness. once i saw the rooms i felt a bit more comfortable. Rooms look nice. Rooms are a bit small. Not that much restroom counter space to place your toiletries for the ladies. Part of town looks a bit sketch but the decor of the room and the nicest of the staff really makes it that much better. Water pressure was decent. The trick to flushing the Toilet is to hold it down until everything goes down. You can open the window to air everything out. Restroom lighting is good. Very bright. mylo is definitely a okay to stay at. no complaints from this yelper.
