It's a small shop, but it will take a while to browse through all the items because they are all so neatly crammed together. It's like a drama teachers dream, beret's and beads, green over shirts, strange bird feather vests... I wouldn't take my mum shopping in here although I just asked her what she thought and she said "there are some nice items in there" which got me a little bit worried because usually she has style, a different style anyhow. They do dry cleaning, repairs, local school uniforms, women's unmentionables and supplies. Woah, the supplies. From straight out cloth and other materials, to crazy patterns, to a million different wools to tools you need to put it all together, it's a good range. I used to come here a lot with Mum when I was in school to replace and repair my uniform and have since gone back to pick up random tidbits and they're generally always come through. I put a friend of mine who's into knitting onto Fleurs and he swears by the place.

Little did I know this place would soon capture me with its fashion, trinkets and accessories - not to mention squeeze the life out of my wallet... Walking in, the first things that caught my eye was the cute homeware decor to the right of the entrance. There sat different photo frames, necklace stands, mugs, vintage clothing hooks with such intricate detail, and much more. There were only about three small displays, but I swear I spent about half an hour looking at those alone. They weren't expensive either! I bought a beautiful ballerina jewellery stand and the vintage clothing hooks that are yet to be drilled into my bedroom wall. Next, the fashion. You would never know that this is a recycled clothing boutique. The clothes selected are still intact and of good quality. I bought a minkpink black dress and a cute pantsuit both for under $40. The rings and accessories in the cabinet displays are, however, on the more expensive side. I guess it's because they're hand made, not to mention unique in style. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves shopping, or a boyfriend looking for a gift perhaps..?

The shop is small but packed wall to wall with designer names like Anu, Lola, Suboo, Tahlula, Tigerlilly and more but also many Australian labels too. For those into designer brands this shop has got it all and you will most likely find what you want. They also have a online shop and a Facebook page in case you can't pay a visit in person to Grange. For the little girl in all of us who ever dreamt of being a model but the genes had other ideas, just immerse yourself in an indulgent browse and it'll also be so much cheaper.

The clothes in store just don't have the same appeal as they do on the girls on Instagram - poor merchandising. You really have to look hard to find something you like but you most likely find more than one thing. They don't have many sizes and cater to a fairly young aesthetic - but given the prices, a cashed up audience as well. All of their clothes are designer brands but the somewhat older ones lines like Geoff Blade for instance. A new label on the block which I've seen elsewhere recently also is 'I love my clothes' the word love is a heart shape. It's kinda funky as it's over sized one fits almost all type scenario but the price is close to up there for what it is, but never the less I was giving serious consideration to one piece in particular..but it wasn't to be. I purchased a kaftan style instead, it's not a bright colour - as I do have to ween myself off black and blacker - and not totally African or Indian but more of an inspiration I think...light weight with murky green and dark patterns the print hides the fact it's sheer, perfect for a camy worn underneath during the hot weather. And with Xmas coming up, I hear it'll be a touch on the warm side on Sunday. Fashion from Heaven is mainly aimed towards the more mature woman, possibly the socialite and perhaps someone with cash. But there are sales which are worth keeping an eye out for as you drive by as they don't have a website and don't advertise. This is how well they are known with their regulars who spread news word of mouth.

It is only a small shop but it is beautifully decorated and it enticed me in with its sale signs and exquisite displays. I had never heard of the label before but was very impressed. Definitely designer fashion, beautiful, rich, textured fabrics that are glamorous and timeless. After a little bit of research, I found out that the label is Australian and founded by Helen O'Connor, who is a frequent visitor to Paris, which shows in her gorgeous designs and even the shop fit out. I didn't end up buying anything, but if I had a special occasion and wanted to indulge in something a little different I would certainly back here.

So I strolled in to see what it's all about. Hmm. Odd. While there are some very nice dresses (for $90 or so) there is also some icky fashion here. Think, black and white stripe stretchy lycra genie pants. Yuck!
