They all felt like airport departure lounges But this Skylounge is the tops. And the prices are certainly not ridiculous... Good size helpings on the bar snacks. It's very quiet Sunday afternoons - crazy busy Friday and Saturday evenings and very pleasant Monday to Thursday for late evening drinks it proved.

Overall: awesome design and lights, neat waiters, wonderful view, but drinks do not offer a good price-quality ratio. I have never eaten here.

I'm not sure if it is always like that but they have this confusing voucher system where you have to purchase a certain amount on the door and then present it at the bar and they cross out the amount. If you buy €10 and then decide to stay for another stiff one (and that's the only stiffy you'll find, I'm not complaining, it's veeery lezzie here) you gotta go upstairs and get another voucher. Let me just say, by the time you leave you'll have pockets full of cardboard coupons. I hope they recycle well. One rude member of staff at the door didn't ruin it for me but it's Germany, the language itself sounds rude and dirty, so maybe she was nice.. or rude. Generally good atmosphere, efficient bar tenderesses, so I guess it was all right. Won't be going back though, not my cup of tea.

The cocktails are mixed well, however the quality depends on the mixing skills of the bar keeper, which is not always the same one like the day before. But my experience on them is always good. And the cocktails also have a decent amount of alc.. So I can say, the prices for them are ok. The beer is fresh, as well as the Apfelwein is fizzy. The food is ok, but please don't expect a true culinary highlight Chips n Salsa is ok, as they come straight of the can and bag. I don't want to get too much in detail here, but it is pretty much the same with all the other dishes on the menu. On the other hand, it is a big menu so you definitely can find the right dish for the evening. However I only recommend the food for a "beer snack". It can be a little bit noisy in the Lounge, as it is a big room with no partitions. The waiters are fast and friendly. You will have a nice evening here. Cheers
