Not only were they forced into the office half of the time and punished for being picked on, they NEVER reprimanded the bully. This is one of the many irritating things this school does. Their justice system is overly messed up, not taking care of a student unless they're popular. Not to mention, my grandchild is qualified for a 504 plan. They did not respect this. They claimed that their grades were enough for them to not qualify for one? What BULLSHIT! They would step on the kids who struggled to boost the other popular students up. The only thing good to come out of that school was the music program. The teachers in that corner of the school are angels compared to the rest. Some might think maybe I'd have something nice to say about the counselors. WRONG. These counselors do not do their jobs at all. My grandchild went to them about issues with friends and they didn't help at all. In fact, they PULLED them into the same room. Resulting in making the problem worse. I don't know what these peoples thought processes are, but it's obviously not a good one. Some of the teachers tend to be racist. My grandchild had a few friends that weren't strictly white, and these teachers would degrade, pick on, and insult these students. This school is just disgusting. The food tends to be awful, the teachers are cruel. The only thing I support in that school are the rare, kind teachers, and the music department.
