At what point did Myer drift headlong - blind, listless - into irrelevance?…read more I can't put my finger on it. Neither can they evidently, as I don't even think they're actually aware that there's anything wrong. A ham-fisted attempt at a youth section (The Basement, ironically- or, even more terrifying, non-ironically - located on the top floor), a half-hearted bringing-in of the actually-pretty-cool Dangerfield brand, and it looks like they've decided yep, job done. I used to shop here a lot for clothes, especially in the colossal half-year sales, but there's just nothing there I really want any more. And the organisation is terrible. The male change room is always closed, and having to line up for the girls one, which always a has a massive queue? Really guys? Many's the time I've got sick of waiting, thrown my clothes down and marched out in a Hufflepuff. Yeah baby, you know I just dropped a Harry Potter reference on y'all.

Myer, stop telling lies. While you clearly wanted me to have a drawer full of under things from the 2010s, you want them covered with my more resilient 2000s clothes. Until my shopping... Ahem... Family trip, I'll continue to rock the hell out of these threadbare boot cut $20 Levi's and Salvos finest

They have ordered the clothes according to colour so you can be pretty direct if you want to find something in particular. I found most of the clothes quite mumsyish, but I didn't let that dissuade me. After a bit more of a thorough browse I came away with a gorgeous Country Road top and sensible work skirt, all for under $30! Very pleasing...and charitable. What more could you ask for?

Sure the prices are high but these are designer brands after all and to be expected. Although I have to admit Incu marks it up quite high. This place fits right into my approach to shopping. I don't shop often at all so I have a small wardrobe, but when I do I tend to buy investment pieces that would last me years. I have bought a few items here (mostly when its on sale) and even the most simple items look different when worn. My favourite designer is Alexander Wang and his casual wear line is amazing. He puts a bit of cool to my usual uniform of jeans and t-shirt! The assistants there are usually design students and are nice enough when approached. I guess the clothes speak for themselves and their demeanor reflective of most designer stores. Truth is, at current market conditions, I would rather shop online because you can get all of these designers on websites such as net-a-porter at much lower prices. But if I can't wait or if its sold out overseas, this is when I head to Incu. Lovely store with beautiful clothing.

Incu is great, expensive but great, I don't often buy anything as I don't want to spend $45 for a singlet or $120 on shorts, but if I had an unlimited budget and less clothes I would shop there. They sell casual designer clothes from leading design houses and their clothes cover a range of styles, but are all excellent quality and extremely stylish. Although I try to keep my credit card in my pocket, I still like to have a browse.

Definitely stay away from the 'Eyelet Detail Ballerina Flat' - yes so super cute, but has a design flaw and leather is so not premium Italian leather, and tears very easily. I reached out to Bassike after my $600+ purchase, having them for only two weeks, worn about 5 times and the leather has torn on the heel area, both shoes and looks shabby. Basically Bassike Customer Service made it very clear they would not be replacing them, after reaching out twice. I have never experienced such poor Customer Service, so disappointing! Oh but apparently I can make an arrangement to take the shoes into the store for further assessment but was made clear that the decision is not likely to change. Well thank you for your premium service Bassike. Perhaps stay away from footwear sales.

It's spendo, there's no getting around that, but hey, you pay for quality, right? And yeah, they cater mainly to women, but they've got a decent men's range too, and their hallmark carries across both: quality fabrics and simple yet amazing cuts. It's casual and it looks ace. For me, clothes are all about the cut. I'd rather take a $5 t-shirt that fits well than a $200 Prada one that sucks. The tees here are about a hunjy each though, so don't go too crazy. Pop quiz: it's pronounced "Basic". I didn't know that and sounded like an idiot saying it phoenetically. Yeesh.

The mall isn't necessarily very big, but there were plenty of shops to understand the type of style. I would say the quality and price of the clothes here isn't very great. Style wise, I can see it being trendy, but the quality is like forever 21 or agaci and the price is way too steep for that type of quality. I'm used to heavier fabric and material so to see what was offered here was a bit disappointing. Not the greatest mall I've been to, but not absolutely horrendous. If needed, I would buy things here, but only if I really needed something.
