    Spring rolls
    Elizabeth B.

Today I got food to go from this place, and it was not nearly as good as I expected. First of all the fresh spring rolls with shrimp instead of a large prawn like most spring rolls, This had some tragic looking little. Shrimp in the bottom that were very suspicious to me. I didn't wanna eat them so I gave them to the dog. The chicken satay was very dry definitely overcooked and although the sticky rice with mango tasted good the presentation was really unattractive. You take a look at my picture and tell me what it looks like to you. I I did pick at a bit of it, but it was just so gross looking. I paid quite a bit of money for this food very disappointed.

I put in an online order at 4:15 on mother's Day. They told me food world be ready at 4:45. The restaurant is only at half capacity. I waited till 6:25. There are around 12 people waiting too. I can see part of my food has been out for a while and it's likely cold. They are rearranging orders to try and meet the customers that are talking to them. Total kitchen breakdown. They could have at least asked if I wanted a water while I waited. They said they would give me a refund but never came back.

What went well the atmosphere the friendly service of the staff the owner was there stopped by and asked us how our food was. The food came out the way I expected to. It wasn't too oily the meat was tender. I can't say enough about this place. I drive 4 1/2 hours to get here for this incredible meal everything on the menu taste the way the pictures look incredible highly recommend this place to anybody that wants to try real food that's made fresh not from a can.

Very interesting experience... honestly the food was good but the service really brought it down to a 2/3. I am not one to give bad reviews but the servers were super rude and took very long to serve us and never attended to us. We came on a Sunday Night and it was so hard to call staff, they looked like they didn't want to take our order and didn't even repeat the order to us & just left. They also seemed angry when we asked straws for our water. I would not come back here if service is like this

I appreciate the ability to order and pay online for my take out order. My only complaint was that utensils were not included with my order. I ordered the khao man gai, which was really good. The chicken was tender and I love the mildly spicy dipping sauce. I love that it came with a side of chicken broth. I would like to dine in on my next visit to try their other menu items.

Came here for lunch. I don't know why, but almost every Thai place I've been to seems to taste very similar. I don't know if it's the coconut milk or other ingredients, but it's almost all the same to me. This restaurant also tastes similar, but, the staff are really nice. My food came out fresh and the curry was hot. I enjoyed the avocado spring rolls. I was going to get the mango, but the waitress recommended the avocado. I also got the shrimp, but the shrimp was kinda small. The peanut sauce was very good. I also like that they give you multiple options for rice. Price is on the higher side, but Thai food is generally expensive and the area itself is expensive.

We had a ladies night out and chose this place. A couple oh is had been here previously, the other three had not. We started with spring rolls and money bags for appetizers. Yummy. We all chose different menu items for dinner - everyone enjoyed there it's and we all took leftovers home. I chose the wok meal with chicken, zucchini, mushrooms, cashews, peanut sauce and with blue rice (I had it last time and liked it). Service was great.

We found this place on the way to Lake Tahoe and decided to give it a try. The menu had a wide variety of options including curry, noodles, and dessert. We got the pumpkin curry and drunken noodles. Serving was a bit slow and we waited for 20+ min after ordering to get our food. The pumpkin curry was creamy and a little sweet. We were curious about the blue rice on the menu so ordered it for the curry. The blue rice turned out to be coconut rice with a light hint of coconut, which was really refreshing. The drunken noodles were freshly made out of the wok and had a smoky taste that I really liked. Both came with generous portion. The restaurant was located in a large plaza with plenty of parking.

Steamed pork dumplings... these were hard and chewy. Absolutely not worth it

I came in to order some dinner for my client. I walked into a not too busy restaurant just before 6:30 p.m. I ordered her a double shrimp with chicken Pad d Thai. She didn't want carrots, green onions, tofu, or peanuts. She also wanted streamed pork dumplings, so I got one of those, too. After putting in the order, it was $54 & change... I sat and waited for about 15 minutes at their bar top. Without my phone in hand, I read their menu and saw that it was happy hour. I only saw the HH menu for appetizers, which was $1 off selected apps. The color scheme inside is a cherry red in the walls with dim lighting. All the servers were very polite and from my angle, I can see the kitchen working hard. When I received my order, I decided to check it before I left. First, I was missing one the orders of steamed dumplings. Also, there was barely any shrimp, although I paid for extra shrimp. One of the servers could tell I had concerns and after asking me if I needed something, she took the Pad Thai back to the kitchen. Within minutes, I received the correct order of Pad Thai and the 2nd order of dumplings. I drove back to my clients house and I served her up half of her Pad Thai and gave her some dumplings, which came with a sauce. The dumplings were pretty tough. Hard to even cut through with a knife. The meat inside was not tender at all, but it was a big piece of ground pork, just not tender at all, so maybe it was overcooked. The sauce was pretty sweet. No spice at all. I tried a bite of the Pad Thai. It had really good flavor. I wish my client had gotten it with veggies, lol Although they forgot to give me an appetizer and the 2nd order of shrimp I paid for... their great customer service over came some of the frustration. Just not the part where the streamed pork dumplings weren't good. That was really disappointing. I look forward to coming back and trying different items on their menu!

This is my husband and my go to when we come to Roseville. Fresh ingredients, flavor is incredible and you choose how spicy you want it. Very friendly staff. Sticky Mango rice is so delicious. Place is elegant and inviting. Anyone who loves Thai this will be your go to.

I came here for lunch after getting my car serviced in Rocklin. The place looks established for several years with nice Asian decorations. There was a good sized lunch crowd so service was a little slow as there was only 1 waitress. The menu revealed both Thai and Chinese dishes. My pork dumplings were about average. My Panang curry chicken was well seasoned and mildly spicy but didn't have the basil flavor of my usual go to Thai restaurant in Folsom. Overall a very good meal.

Can they make meals not spicy at all? My sister picked this restaurant for her birthday dinner. I can not eat anything spicy.

Yes! Just ask for no spice or level 0 😊

What brand of red curry paste do you use?

Are they allowing tips again? I remember they didn't have tipping for a while because they paid their staff well, however recently we've been seeing the tip section back on the recipe..not sure if things have changed.

    We left a tip!

What is everyone's favorite dish here - I love their chicken pad Thai but wanting to branch out and try something new?

    We love the yellow curry

After being seated, the food arrived in a timely manner. There was however an issue with one plate we had ordered that did not come (we ended up cancelling it). The food itself? The presentation was great. There was however no consensus on the enjoyment of the multiple dishes. A big mix of meh/okay/good. I think a lot of it had to do with any dishes with chicken - the chicken in a few dishes were a tad bit too dry. We requested for all dishes to be mild (just in case), and one of the dishes was extremely spicy for some of the party. Overall, I'd like to give this location another shot solo - some dishes just taste better with different types of protein (for me).

The restaurant is nice and clean and comfortable. Very simply and tastefully decorated and the staff were pleasant and let us take our time getting settled in to the menu. We all ordered their cream cheese wontons to share, and they were so good, we ordered two more orders! They were more flavorful, with the addition of garlic, than the usual ones you get at other restaurants, and we all really enjoyed them! The curries my step granddaughters ordered looked heavenly and they really liked them, and my husband ordered his favorite dish, Thai basil beef, my father and mother in law and I ordered pineapple shrimp and chicken fried rice, and my stepson ordered a curry dish. We all really enjoyed them and their servings are HUGE! We all took home leftovers, which was a plus! Be prepared for large servings! The only drawback (if you want to consider it that) to our dinner was the level of spiciness here. Fr those of us who ordered mild heat, it was way more spicy than we are used to, so, if you aren't a fan of very spicy Thai food, be aware and order it with none. My father and mother in law, who are in their mid 80's, were smart and ordered their fried rice with no spice. I've never been to a Thai restaurant (one of my favorite cuisines!) that had such spicy mil. I just thought I'd warn my fellow Yelpers who are sensitive to hot and spicy food. We all left happy and really enjoyed our food. Oh, their Thai iced tea is delicious and is a very reasonable price, compared to other Thai restaurants.

We sat indoors at a window booth. The interior on first glance appears upscale and nicely appointed until one looks closer at the abundance of artifical flowers and plants engulfing the upper perimeter of the room. Plus it could use some sprucing up as well. Overall if you don't look too hard it's nice enough. I have found at both pick up and this time eating in that the service is not overly friendly, just matter of fact and bordering on surly. No one appears to be enjoying their job. Nonetheless the food is consistently good, and the prime reason for a visit. The menu is broad and there are many choices from the usual Thai dishes plus a good array of seafood. This time I selected the Thai Chow Mein with my selection of tofu for the protein. I ordered it "spicy", one step below "Thai Spice". I ordered it with a Saporro beer on tap. Service and delivery of food was prompt and the dish look very appealing and appetizing. All of the flavors were absolutely delicious and the chow mein noodles tasty and perfectly cooked. The tofu was good and nicely cooked as well, still tender and lightly toasted on the outside. I found the spiciness level just OK under what I was expecting and hoped for, which hasn't been the case with my other takeout or delivery orders. Orchid Thai is a good, consistent restaurant. I will definitely continue to have them as a 'go-to' option for delicious Thai food.
