You can get the same quality boba for quite a bit cheaper in other places around the town. Over 4€ for a small sized cup without any toppings (pearls, pudding etc.) is certainly expensive. Other than that, their flavours are very interesting and they have a wide and delicious range, from roasted milk tea to yakult milk tea. In addition, they offer diverse toppings, such as pudding, which reminds me of my time in Asia.

This was the first time I've tried Boba since moving from Los Angeles to Germany and I was not disappointed with this little place in Düsseldorf. It is strategically placed near the end of a shopping lane (Schadowstraße) before the U-Bahn (in Am Wehrhahn) so it is very hard to miss. I ordered the Roasted milk tea, half sweet and it was ready in under 5 minutes. Give them a try!

As tasty as it is for Düsseldorf it falls short of great hot chocolates found in Paris such as Angelina which arguably is the best hot chocolate I tried in my life. That said I never had a frappe of this quality in Europe. with grade a chocolate. It was certainly a refresher on a hot day without air conditioning in Germany. I bought fruit chocolates such as mango raspberry and blueberry from the shop attached to this. I had one sampling and was floored by how great the mango chocolates were. Each chocolate was a euro a piece so it wasn't too expensive for the grade. I'm looking forward to having a few of these when I return. If anything at all this place is located in the heart of altstadt so it's definitely worth a trip - at least to look at the cute design.
