I'm updating my original review because people deserve to know the truth about how far this…read morepractice has fallen. The glowing reviews you'll see here are outdated--many of the doctors being praised, like Dr. Andrew, don't even work here anymore. Since the practice relocated and Dr. Koch took over, it's been a steady and disappointing decline. Dr. Koch took over the practice and it's completely gone downhill since they've moved. She hasn't personally examined my teeth in years, except for brief check-ins for orthodontic treatment. Most of my visits have been with Dr. Mondani, who completely lacks chair-side manner and shows zero warmth or connection. Every interaction now feels rushed, impersonal, and transactional. It's clear the focus is no longer on patient care--it's on moving people in and out as fast as possible. The new office space mirrors the cold, detached experience: sterile, industrial, and uninviting. It's the perfect metaphor for how the practice now operates--clinical and profit-driven, with none of the comfort or care you'd hope for in a family dental office. One of the other issues that adds to the decline of this place is that they no longer validate the parking for a full visit. They only validate for 1 hour and they have NEVER actually gotten me in and out within an hour so I have a pay a balance when I leave. It's only a few dollars but it's quite an annoyance. Another huge issue is the turnover is staff, clearly there is an issue with how they treat their employees as well because the tech turnover is insanely high. I haven't seen the same tech more than twice in a row and I'm trying to get to know a new tech each time. This used to be a dental office I trusted and recommended. Not anymore. If you're looking for a practice that values you as a patient and runs with professionalism and care, look elsewhere. This place is a shell of what it used to be.

Dr Drescher, his assistant-Kia, and the front desk staff are all exceptional! Dr Drescher actually made time to talk to me on the phone, he listened to my explanation of my problem and worked me into his tight schedule. He expertly removed and replaced my bridge in one visit! I am so grateful! My previous dentist had me scheduled to cut and replace the bridge for an estimated cost of $20-25,000! Dr Drescher's entire bill was under $200! And, they have a fabulous "Reference to Radiate." My neighbors had referred me, so I saved $50 and they have a credit of $50! I am smiling again, with $$,$$$ in MY pocket!

Because I LUV my dentist, and I've been seeing Dr. Drescher for years now. I first came here on a friend's recommendation after a botched crown experience at another office. Not only did Dr. Drescher fix the previous dentist's mistake, but he was also incredibly kind and gracious throughout the entire process. I could tell he genuinely cared about getting it right--not just clinically, but for my comfort and confidence too. Now, I've been a loyal patient ever since--even though I've relocated multiple times over the years. I still make it a point to come back to Dr. Drescher for my cleanings and checkups when I'm in Atlanta. Fast forward to today--I recently got Invisalign, and I'm absolutely loving my new smile. The care, patience, and attention to detail from Dr. Drescher and his whole team made the process easy and actually kind of enjoyable. The staff is warm, welcoming, and on top of everything, with friendly reminders that keep me on track (even when I'm in another state). It's rare to find a provider who makes routine dental care feel this easy and comfortable. If you're dental-avoidant like I used to be, give this office a try. You just might find yourself writing a review like this one. I'm smiling more these days and my smile is healthier, straighter, and brighter--thanks to the amazing care I've received here.

PRIORITIZE MONEY OVER PATIENTS BEWARE…read more.. I was referred to this practice by my primary dentist, but after my experience, I have formally filed a complaint with the Georgia Board of Dentistry and notified my provider that I will no longer accept referrals to this office. I attempted to reschedule a May 21 appointment due to a tornado and power outage in my area. I was told by staff that the $200 cancellation fee would be waived under the circumstances. I have documentation confirming a power outage at my home and an email showing our call was disconnected. Yet nearly a month later, on June 12, I was billed for the full $200--without explanation, follow-up, or regard for the prior communication. When I called to reschedule, Yolanda L., the office manager, was rude, insensitive, and completely unprofessional. She told me I needed to pay my full deductible upfront just to rebook, despite the emergency situation and the previous understanding. She was aggressive on the phone, dismissive of my concerns, and offered no support or compassion for the circumstances. This is not acceptable behavior for someone in patient-facing care. What's worse is that this practice failed to meet basic pre-operative standards. I was never given lab orders, formal clearance instructions, or education about anesthesia risk--even though I disclosed recreational smoker use. No reminders, documentation, or clinical follow-up were provided in the three weeks between my consultation and scheduled surgery. This is clinically irresponsible and could have put my health at risk. After reviewing other patient experiences, it's clear I'm not alone. Many others have described this office as hostile, unsympathetic, and dismissive. The common theme is money-first, patient-second--and it shows in how they communicate, bill, and treat people during vulnerable moments. This review serves as a warning to others and documentation of my experience. I have formally reported this office to the Georgia Board of Dentistry for further investigation. I've also notified my referring dentist to remove this clinic from their list. I will never return, and I urge others to do their research before trusting this team with your care.

To begin my terrible experience, as someone who is new to Atlanta, the Midtown location was very hard to find. I tried calling the office for help locating it and just kept getting routed to an AI robot over and over. I of course ended up figuring it out, but I really just wish I would not have. You'll have to pay for parking, and somehow a dentist making thousands of dollars off of you can't validate a tiny parking lot ticket. Super nice of them! The front desk experience didn't help either. The receptionist was cold and unwelcoming. The waiting room looks nice and aesthetic, but the second you're brought back, it completely changes. It felt like being a rat in a lab. Cold, clinical, and impersonal. I've never felt so uncared for walking into a dentist's office. The screen you're sat in front of also just scrolls random pictures of their "happy" employees - which was odd and uncomfortable. During the cleaning, I had no idea what was going on. I could barely understand the hygienist, and she just kept calling out numbers about my gums being "bad" (which has never been my case) without explaining anything or telling me what I should actually do about it. It felt rushed and transactional. The dentist herself was nice and friendly. But unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience. I also got a surprise "overdue" bill months later that came out of nowhere. Still trying to work that one out as I have to send multiple emails to even get a response. To say the least, I will never be going back to any Tend office, and I would not recommend it to anyone. This whole "corporate takeover" of places that are supposed to make you feel cared for and comfortable ends up being the complete opposite. You're not a patient here, you're a number.

This most recent attempt, I tried to text again but of course, Tend is no longer servicing the number. I emailed customer support and only just got a response more than a week later. I've also heard that Tend pushes unnecessary treatments. In my experience, I had a deep gum cleaning that my new dentist said was unnecessary. I'd warn people away from this company's predatory business practices.

I had a number of visits and everyone at the office was super nice and I never waited long. Come surgery day I opted not to be put down. Dr Pumphrey probably wishes he had as I asked a number of questions through the procedure. There was some crunching and pulling and drilling but it wasn't bad. I mean you're having a tooth broke up and yanked out. I asked if I could keep it and he put it in a bag for me. I showed it off that weekend to grossed out friends! I was so OK after the surgery I went straight to Costco to get groceries and returned to work. I never took any of the pain medication I was provided.
