I have referred about 50 people to this credit repair company, but they forget to say that I sent them, dang it! So I am posting it here. This is the ONLY credit repair company I would recommend. I researched about 25 companies before we chose this one, and they raised our score considerably in 6 months, all for less than $60 a month. Yes, I know you can do it yourself, but you can also mow your own yard, groom your own dog and change the oil in your car but sometimes we just don't WANNA do it ourselves because we are too busy or whatever. Besides, I would rather have a professional handling stuff this important. Anyway, they ROCK, they are inexpensive and they get the job done. My business with "My Credit Group" was complete last December. Here's what I experienced in about three months time while spending hundreds of dollars. 1. Every time (and I do mean every time) I called on the telephone asking to speak with Mangie I was told that she was unavailable for a myriad of reasons. That said, Mangie did keep good contact with me via email. However, there were a couple of times when that type of customer service communication did not help me at all because the clock was ticking. 2. I was told by Mangie while I was interviewing her in consideration for utilizing her services if her business would be able to help me with a judgment that was on my credit report. Her response was yes, absolutely! Do to the fact that the judgment was a small dollar amount there was zero room for her business to make a commission on successfully removing said judgment and in the end "My Credit Group" was unsuccessful in there eff forts to strike a deal with those who held my judgment papers. Overall, My Credit Group did not do anything for me that I found to be extraordinary. MCG did in fact clean up some of the smaller procedure type of data input errors on my credit reports, but fell short of providing me a service that I was under the impression would be provided to me. In the end, I am left to wonder how the other 3 reviews on this page got the 5 star treatment and I did not? I'm thinking 3 company/friendly shills at this juncture. read more

I chose this company because of their "5 star rating" on multiple, legitimate websites when searching for someone to help repair my credit and manage it in the future. I wrote a very kind e-mail thanking them for the experience (albeit a bit patronizing) and stated that I would like to cancel my service. After spending over $500 for services from this company, all I received back was a generic e-mail stating my account was being canceled. Not once was I offered their famous "pay for deletions", communication only happened when I initiated it,and no one ever responded to my repeated requests to talk to a representative with an update-which is something the company promises when you become a member. I feel jipped. Simply put, they are just another credit repair service who will automatically debit your card once a month and send "letters" to creditors. They don't do anything else. They don't educate, counsel and spend time with their customers like they promise for their clients. With that said, I did have a few things wiped off my credit, but nothing too significant. In other words, my credit score has only improved due to my own hard work, research and commitment to maintaining a good credit score. In fact, since using this company, I have had weird things ADDED to my report. Frustrating? Incredibly. It looks like John M. and I became member around the same time (I started in late September of 2011). I don't think our experiences are far off.... Please be weary before using them. I wish I had been more demanding of this company, instead of relying on them to utilize honesty and integrity. My ignorance. read more

I wanted a credit fix service and I called my credit group. I explained my situation and they were very honest and told me that since it was only 2 late payments I can write the letters myself without having to pay. Mangie was AMAZING! When I researched and found them, I was considering bankruptcy. I was ready to do anything to rid my past mistakes with my credit. After speaking with Mangie, I felt this was my best option. Started in May 2016, at that time I couldn't qualify for anything type of credit, to November 2016 I was approved for my first home loan. I joined My Credit Group, I payed the $99.00 fee upfront, then the $59.00 monthly fee began about two weeks later. During that initial call, I was told that a client representative would call me (at a designated time) on the following Monday to discuss my credit repair plan. No one called. Two days later, I called to ask why I hadn't been contacted. I was transferred to someone named John, who went over all of the items in my credit report with me. We talked about which ones were valid and which were disputable. He indicated that he would immediately send out dispute letters and contact the valid companies to begin settlement discussions. He said that I should look for notices from the credit reporting agencies within 45 days. Over 3 months later, I still had not received a single response from a credit agency. Nor did I receive any correspondence from debtors about settlement discussions. I contacted My Credit Group, and was (again) transferred to John. He said that all of the dispute letters were sent out and that since I hadn't received any correspondence, the credit agencies were required to remove negative items. He said that he would send the required paperwork. Feeling very happy, I completely forgot to ask about the settlement discussions with the valid creditors. Two months later, I checked my credit report. NONE of the disputed items had been removed. I immediately called My Credit Group to cancel my membership subscription. I spoke with a woman (whose name I didn't get), who said 'she was happy to cancel my account.' Feeling like an idiot for spending hundreds of dollars for nothing, I was at least satisfied that the whole ordeal was over. I checked my bank account balance today. Sure enough, My Credit Group used my debit card # to charge their monthly $59.00 fee, despite the assurance that my account was canceled. Since I joined this scam of a company, I have paid $453.00 FOR NOTHING. Don't waste your time or your money on these jerks! read more

These guys are the real deal. There are a lot of BS groups out there. However, Mangie really does get it done. They helped me years ago and were incredible. After the first set of letters, the were able to get a $10,000 negative removed. They won't be able to remove everything--but they do what they say they are going to do and those items that can be removed are removed. I would highly recommend them. read more
