This was a wonderful find. If you have a long layover and want to be able to rest or actually sleep I highly recommend getting a room. It is literally in the airport so there is no stress of having to leave the airport and find transportation to a hotel and then get back through security in time for your next flight. For us, it was only two gates away from where we landed.
The rooms are tiny, but that was to be expected. We just wanted a private space were we could sleep. My husband, four year old son, and I got a room for four hours after an overnight international flight from Florida. We were able to sleep and then shower prior to our next flight.
The staff is very kind and helpful. I contacted them prior to booking our room (and after) with several questions. They responded almost immediately and were very proficient with providing me with the information I requested. Upon check-in, the staff was extremely accommodating. We arrived early, but they were able to alter our reservation. They cannot always do this, but seemed willing to help in anyway they could.
The rooms are well appointed. As I said earlier, they are tiny, but that was completely fine with us. It was ample space for what we needed. The bed was amazingly comfortable; great mattress and very comfortable sheets and duvet. There is a flat screen television and WIFI. A decent hairdryer, nothing great, standard hotel style hair dryer. The room was extraordinarily clean and well designed. My only complaint is the clear glass around the shower and toilet. Most people who stay here are probably traveling alone or get a room for just one, so no biggie. It worked fine for us, but if our son was much older it may have been awkward. I did need an iron and ironing board, and there was not one in the room. I bet if I would have asked the front desk they would have had one, but I am not sure as I did not inquire.
My only other criticism is the price. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for, right? It was a more money than we wanted to spend, but it ended up being exactly what we needed.
Too: They have two room choices. With a window/view of the runway or an inside room with no window. The room with a window is an upgrade and costs a bit more. Personally, I think I would have been happier with the room with no window, but my husband and four year old son wanted a window and to watch the planes. read more
