(in may 2026 I was told to call the following Monday after a bad week) to see how she was. She was worse, I called them at the vets request. I told them she was much worse and needed to come in. They claimed they had no openings but could see her the next day. I couldn't wait so I took her to an emergency vet. She died that Wednesday, she was only 4 years old. I'm heart broken and disgusted with the no help I received. it appears to me, it's all about the money and not your pet. you would think they would in the least apologize for their behavior. of course they didn't . I would never use them again

The last dental my dog had 3 years ago cost $400. Today I was quoted almost $2,000 for a 14 year old 7.5 pound Shorkie that has most teeth already removed. Very disappointed in the skyrocketing pricing. I hate to have to look for another vet clinic but it looks like I have to.

With it being Dental Month and Roadside offering reduced rates I think it's important to post this…read more We brought our dog to Roadside Veterinary Clinic in January for a dental cleaning and planned extraction. During the procedure, he remained under anesthesia for an extended period while the veterinarian attempted to obtain permission to remove a second tooth. A second opinion later advised that the additional extraction was not immediately necessary and may not be needed for years. About 10 days after the procedure, our dog developed significant fur loss and a severe skin infection. Another veterinary office and a friend who works at an emergency vet hospital indicated that the wound pattern was most consistent with a thermal injury, which can be associated with warming devices used during anesthesia. When we raised concerns, we were told he may have had a rash at admission, and that details would need to be confirmed with the veterinarian. The clinic has stated they use a forced-air warming system rather than heating pads and has denied that an injury of this nature could have occurred there. We were charged over $700 for MRSA and ringworm testing, and a possible thermal injury was never discussed. Antibiotics were nearly discontinued before the infection had fully resolved because lab results were pending. The first photo shows his condition 10 days after the cleaning; the second shows 4 weeks later. The infection has resolved, but the wound is still healing. We are deeply disappointed by both the outcome of our dog's care and the way our concerns were handled afterward. We expected transparency, accountability, and genuine concern. Instead, we received inconsistent information from staff, shifting explanations, and no meaningful acknowledgment of responsibility. Most troubling was the complete lack of empathy shown during our conversations. At no point did we feel that our dog's wellbeing or our concerns were taken seriously. Compassionate care includes honesty, accountability, and concern when complications arise. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
