Few people are likely to find this little record shop by chance, being as it is tucked away off…read moreSachsenhausen's main thoroughfares. But In Between is well worth going out of your way for if you're a music nut of any description. Note that In Between only sells used records.
It's a pleasant shop, but with that slightly chaotic element you would expect: Records and CDs in racks and boxes, with a pretty good selection of merchandise in all genres. Jazz is particularly well represented, especially on vinyl, and there's some good classical music here, too. Add to which rock, indie etc. You're bound to find something if you come with an open mind, even if things sometimes seem a little hard to find. The prices are OK; although some of the vinyl seems a bit expensive to me, it's on a par with the other shops in Frankfurt, and there really is scarcely any junk to wade through. Instead, there's a selection of some really quite unusual but excellent music. There are quite a few reasonably-priced DVDs to be had, too.
There's a nice little reading and listening corner at the back of the shop, too.
