The Musicians Toy Store on Western Boulevard in Jacksonville, NC has lot of instruments and music books to help you along your journey to becoming a musician. The Staff is awesome and knowledgeable. Check them out for any equipment you might need. read more

I recently purchased a Suzuki MDG-300 Micro Grand Digital Piano. From start to finish was a breeze. I have been researching the item and looking for a local vendor, did not want to purchase the item online. I contacted Mr. Tommy at the Musicians Toy Store located in Jacksonville mall and he found the piano and could order the item. It was currently out of stock like most merchandise due to the pandemic and was given 2 1/2 months for it to be in stock. It arrived a month early and he called to surprised me. Great family business, honest and that O'l fashion great customer service. Highly recommend!!! Happy Military family. read more

The store is clean, the staff is friendly- so those is in no way a reflection of bad people. This is the only store in town and it is very obviously geared towards beginners with the inventory of guitars and amps they have on hand. That's fine if you're looking to buy your tween a 200 dollar squier, nothing wrong with that, that's just not what most young adult hobbyists/ players are looking for. I've been in twice in the past 2 months and they were out of what I was looking for each time. One visit was for a set of 10 gauge electric guitar strings. How on earth you don't have that in stock is beyond me. If they had a better selection/ inventory I think they could serve this area very well. As it is, everything in their shop can be had cheaper online without the frustrating visit to the mall. read more
