Picked it up the other day and took it home to give it some play and I was pleasantly surprised as to the wiring job Nikk performed! Always a pleasure to have Nikk and Jay work on my custom guitars, I have come to rely on their expertise and passion for their craft and I rest assured that my instruments are in good hands! They've always given me the best service and been the most helpful. I've dealt with every other music store in the Calgary area but I always see these guys first if I'm looking for something as I know they'll give me the best service and support. Plus they've never hidden behind stupid policies but have always used common sense in solving any problems I've had with products they've sold me. They actually seem to value customers more than other music stores in Calgary. I've never been left dissatisfied with what they've done for me. After more than 15 years dealing with them I can't believe they still have some of the same staff.

I had just moved to Calgary and was looking for something to wile away the hours, so I signed up for a beginners art class through the city. Lucky for me, The NMPAC (they don't call it that - or maybe they do - but I don't really want to type it out again) just happened to be down the street. It was perfect. This place is called an "Arts Centre" for a reason. They've got the facilities to host a plethora of classes from painting to sculpting to pottery. I quite enjoyed when break time came in my evening class and I got to wander the halls a bit and poke my head in to see what other classes were doing or take a look at the more recent projects hanging on the walls. It almost felt like elementary school in that sense... just as fun, but with a bit more skill. Reminiscing has me wanting to take another class soon... time to peruse the fall/winter schedule.
