This museum is in partnership with the No 1 Royal Crescent Museum. For a small fee you can get a joint ticket to both places. I never would have found this place if I hadn't gone to No 1. This is a very tiny, very basic museum.
However, it was just the kind of thing that appealed to me. I'm one of those people who LOVES factory tours because I like to know how things are made. The Bath Architecture Museum has these amazing videos of craftsman showing how elements of Georgian Architecture are made. It also houses varieties of stone and illustrates painting and wallpapering techniques of the time. I love that kind of stuff! I left wanting to become a stone mason.
This museum isn't for everyone and has unusual hours; however, for the right person, this is a really interesting museum and especially worth it if you get the 2 for 1 deal with No 1 Royal Crescent. read more
