Lovely museum with the collection of art historian Dr. Abraham Bredius. The house itself is a beauty to see and imagine life back in the 18th century of the rich. There are over 200 paintings. Quite refreshing are these are life style paintings of ditch life and Dutch people. It's a nice change from the many religious paintings you see in other places.
The audio tour is only in Dutch, but don't let they discourage you from coming to just enjoy the building and the great collection of art. Likely not a top place to visit, being overshadowed by the Mauritshuis directly across the water, but still worth a view if you have time and the msuesumkaart. read more
