Biscoff basque cheesecake (size small $30/serves 2-3)
Stephanie M.

Ordered the basque Biscoff cheesecake here and I enjoyed it! Kept seeing this place all over social media so had to try it. A small is $30 so it's pretty pricey and not sure if I'd spend that much again, but it was worth a try for sure. This is located in like a food hall type of place so when you arrive, you just call to pick up your order that you placed online the day prior. Sadly when my husband dropped me off to pick up the cake, he went into the public driveway directly next to it and the owner of OnPoint Collisions yelled at us. When he asked us to leave the driveway which my husband was going to do by u turning, the owner yelled and said we are not allowed to make a u turn as we would damage his property. Might I add that we safely made a u turn out without damaging any property--after all, we wanted to safely get back onto the busy street facing forward rather than backing up into it like the owner was rudely demanding we would do. Anyways, just beware of the owner next door to this bakery pick up place if you happen to get cheesecake here and have no place to stop your car other than the open long alleyway by his shop. That guy honestly tainted our experience here but otherwise, great cheesecake haha

Delivered all the way from Sd by my cousin who's a local there 1.23.26

Review 22/ 365 Day Challenge When i first saw Muse Burnt Basque Cheesecake on my Ig Feed. My middle son saw how creamy cheesy yummy looking cheesecake . He said he wanted to try it since he loves all cheesy eats! Saw how they are located in San Diego. Ends up being perfect that my cousin that's a local in SD was visiting OC for the weekend. So i decided to order one and she help mee pick up the cheesecake. Love how i got text updates on when my cheesecake was ready to be picked up. The bakery location looked as if they rent a kitchen station to bake their cheesecake in house. Got the 6 inch that serves up to 6 people/slices. The cheesecake itself is so creamy, cheesy center unlike a regular basque cheesecake and not overly sweet at all. Had the perfect sweet level and perfected texture. My cousin also tried it and will be ordering herself one for the future. Muse offer different type of basque cheesecake, I'm intrigued and want to order the Ube flavor next. Packing comes in a nice Maroon color box along a matching insulated cooler bag. Really elegant and nicely packaged. Muse Cheesecake you have won my son over. He had 2 slices himself and didn't want to share. lol.

The best cheesecake ive ever had Got the classic cheesecake. The texture inside is so nice and creamy. And the flavoring was less of that sharp cream cheesey flavor and more of a softer flavoring of that which i really enjoyed Overall would come back for this multiple people wanted to go back for second slices.

Clockwise: ube, pistachio, black sesame and Biscoff minis

Instagram got me with this impulse buy. I visit San Diego a couple times per year, and each time this local baker's sponsored posts hit my feed. I ordered the 4-pack minis (4" rounds) for $100. This is a pre-order, pick up only establishment. I ordered online and picked up the next day. So make sure your timing works out for your needs. These cheesecakes definitely lived up to my expectations. I chose ube, pistachio, black sesame and Biscoff. They were all super creamy just as advertised. Most cheesecakes are dense and heavy, but not Muse's. The cheesecakes are not very sweet, and the flavors were more on the subtle side. They are rich, so it really doesn't take much to feel satisfied. I wish they shipped, but I know not all food items are good for that. I was able to freeze the leftovers overnight and transported them on our short flight home to the Bay Area. The cheesecakes tasted just as yummy.

Omg this place is amazing and too bad I live 1.5hrs away from here or maybe it's a good thing or else I'll be getting it all the time. ITS SOOOO CREAMY AND DELICIOUS!!! We were sent a text and email on pick up location. I believe it was the baker herself bringing out the cheesecake herself!! So sweet!! The bag and boxes were purely luxurious!! Eye catching for sure! I got the 6" biscoff with the topping and it was perfect. I also got the ube mini and it was creamy! I was expecting it to be a little less creamy due to its size but perfection. We were so excited so we drove to a near by park and ate it at the park. It was perfection! HIGHLY RECOMMEND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! Excited to try more flavors

Ok ok, more like 4.5 Stars. I love burnt basque cheesecake style (honestly any cheesecake) and this is the closest TRUE version I could find. I was in SD for work and definitely had to make a stop here. I placed an online order for the mini sampler box - original, ube, espresso and Oreo. Ok let me start by saying "mini" is still a really good size! I was expecting something a lot smaller so that was a pleasant surprise. The cheesecakes are so damn tasty, creamy, and full of flavor. I want some more! Docked star because it is pricey and it's far from me but still highly recommend! I will go back when I'm in the area.

Ordered the standard cheesecake. No berries or chocolate. Very interesting style. Gooey and creamy more towards the inside. And traditional out the outer edges. Definitely soft and smooth consistency all around. No spongy areas which i like.

I love love love everything about Muse. It truly lives up to the price. I've tried almost every flavor and my favorites so far are the espresso and the classic. Every cheesecake is always so creamy and soft on the inside, which I absolutely love. The aesthetic and packaging are also beautiful and make it feel extra special. I also really appreciate that for birthdays, they provide candles and a happy birthday cake topper for free, with no extra charge at all. On top of that, the team genuinely cares about their customers and is always willing to work things out and accommodate different needs. I highly recommend trying the classic and espresso for sure, and of course the tiramisu. From now on, every occasion, I'm bringing a Muse cheesecake!!!!

I AM A CHEESECAKE LOVERRRRR!!!!! this is hands down, no doubt the best thing I've ever tasted. AMAZING, cute, chic, elegant, luxurious packaging!!! Fast, flexible service! I will definitely be ordering again for my next appropriate event. 30 out of 10 stars!!! everything! I will be spreading the word and gladly be your unpaid piece of marketing!!! Did I mention we ate it the next day? I can't even imagine the deliciousness eating it right away when it was fresh.!!! I started my first time with the regular cheesecake and will definitely be going back for more flavors

My daughter ordered a birthday cake from this bakery ! Ok it's not the ordinary bundt or fruit decorated cake birthday cakes but ...... ready for this??!!!!!!!!! IT's CHEESECAKESSSSSSSSSSSS! Boxed with a red ribbon bow was 4 different flavored mini burnt basque round cheesecakes: UBE, BISCOFF, OREO, DULCE de LECHE!! The creaminess custard like interior filling and perfectly caramelized top to the extend of almost burnt deep brown color were a melt-in-your- mouth experience!!

I've been seeing ads for this cheesecake everywhere, so I finally gave in and tried it. I got the original and the ube. Honestly, one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It's not crazy sweet like Cheesecake Factory. The middle is super creamy, almost like a pudding, and the texture just melts in your mouth. It is a little pricey, but honestly worth it for how good it is. Definitely recommend if you've been on the fence about trying it.

Listen, I've never really been a fan of cheesecake, but MUSE CHEESECAKES has truly changed my life!!! I first tried Muse when I brought an original one to Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it so much that I ended up buying 6 as Christmas gifts. I've tried the original, ube, pistachio, dulce de leche, and black sesame. They are all so decadently rich, melts in your mouth, and literally creeeamy to the core. Every bite felt indulgent but not overwhelming, with the perfect balance of sweetness. The packaging itself...are you kidding me!? A luxe matte red finish with gold script made it feel so special. It felt like opening a designer box, but instead of diamonds, it's THE BEST CHEESECAKE EVER! I added a gold ribbon and gift tag and it elevated the already beautiful box into something that looked completely couture...Muse CheeseCaketure! Pickup was seamless from start to finish. I received a text when my order was ready, and after I let them know I had arrived, Lada (the owner) personally brought out my order to my car. She was incredibly kind, gracious, and might I add, stunningly beautiful. Thank you Lada for setting a new standard for cheesecake

Honestly unbelievable! Order one soon. Just do it. I know what I'm getting for every celebration now. It's a little expensive but absolutely worth it for a special occasion. I couldn't help but react when I had my first bite. Really having to practice self control to not finish the whole thing today!

For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently.
