I absolutely love Dr. Andrea seat! Honestly she's so sweet. I had a horrible ingrown toenail (TMI)…read morethat was causing me lots of pain. I tried lots of stuff at home sadly with no relief. I called Dr. Seat's office and they got me in so fast! My regular podiatrist had a 3mp waitlist! I am officially switching to Dr. Seat! Back to the toe. Dude. She fixed me up so fast. Wow. I am so incredibly grateful for how professional, quick, and gentle she is. Office staff is always very kind and helpful. I am so grateful to have found this office!

Looking at the headline here: "type of care, care quality, and office experience"- if I had gotten…read moreto see the doctor, I could've discovered if they provided anything positive. As it was, I couldn't even get past the receptionist. I chose this doctor- 40 minutes from my home- because of the good reviews. However, a doctor's quality is also reflected in their staff. The office person did notify me two days before to come in early because I had not filled out my paperwork online. Well, the day before my appointment I did print it out and fill it in- in case there were any unforeseen traffic events I would be prepared upon arrival. I was relieved when I arrived at 3:31 (yes, there was horrendous traffic on the way). I was only one minute late! I handed my paperwork to the receptionist, who was already unhappy. She monotoned, "you were supposed to be here by 3:15". Yes, I responded, but that was because I hadn't filled out my paperwork- so here it is filled out. At this point another person inserted herself and said, "You were late, we will have to reschedule you." Seriously? I looked at my watch- it was 3:32pm by this point. "Seriously?" I said outloud. Seriously. I had slammed into a wall and they were unbudging. I was simply stunned. There were no other patients that I could see. I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't comprehend the lack of kindness or empathy that I had just navigated through 40 minutes of driving to arrive there...let alone the constant pain in my feet. I didn't know what to do- so I just walked out. I will find another doctor closer to home.

The Norman doc referred is to Dr Smith in Edmond. Dr. Smith measured, calculated and planned the surgery and was able to communicate his plan to our son and us. We were very nervous as our son had his heart set on going in the Marine Corp. if this didn't work out, the Marines would not accept him. Fortunately for our son, the procedure went well and he had very little problems getting in and completing incredibly demanding basic training. It has been 2.5 years since the surgery and our son never complains about his feet. Thank you, Dr Smith!

At my first appointment, he came in right away,…read moreexamined the area, scraped off some of the fungus, and prescribed medication to treat it. At my follow-up appointment, I was left waiting in the exam room for over 45 minutes before Dr. Elenburg came in, without offering any apology for the delay. He reviewed my chart but appeared unsure about the treatment provided during my previous visit. The X-ray taken showed no clear issue, and he seemed uncertain about the next steps. Dr. Elenburg informed me that he would refer me to another provider for additional X-rays, and that they would report back to him if they noticed anything. Beyond that, he was unable to explain the cause of my ongoing toe pain. I found it puzzling that he was ordering new X-rays rather than consulting the ones he had already taken during my visit. It's now been almost a month, and I have yet to be contacted by the referred office to schedule further imaging. Unfortunately, I found Dr. Elenburg's bedside manner lacking. He avoided eye contact, appeared confused at times, and didn't offer even a basic gesture--like a smile--to put me at ease. He also used medical terminology without explaining it, which left me feeling more confused than reassured. On a positive note, his staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and welcoming, which I appreciated.

Secondly, it's one mass on one toe, and he wanted to do two surgeries for 1 lump on my toe. That's ridiculous. As he seemed cocky in his attitude, he did not seem confident in the procedure. Maybe hints to why he wanted to do it in two surgeries or he was just trying to suck more money out of me. Either way I went to a confident doctor at McBride who looked at the toe scheduled me for surgery the next week. And I'm up and getting around already 4 days later. 1 surgery took him 20 mins at McBride. Where as Dr.Elenburg wanted to to 2 surgeries. And said each recovery would be 4-6 weeks. Clinic staff wasn't great at Dr. Elenburgs office where as the lady who takes the pictures told me she sometimes sends them to her husband and he hates it. I laughed but kindly asked her not to send my pictures to her husband.
