I highly recommend you to change your filters more often at first and any rubber hosing or o-rings with "viton" grade rubber to prevent corrosion with biodiesel. He teaches the biodiesel making classes. Anyone that is willing to stand up against the OIL Giants are heroes in my book. Oil companies have tried so hard to suppress this kind of technology. Watch Steven Seagal's "On Deadly Ground." Biodiesel is completely safe for the environment. In fact, it has no toxicity even to the human body or animals. Biodiesel has no negative environmental impact even from a big spill. Also, biodiesel is completely safe to store and not super flammable. There is no toxic or nauseating fume. Biodiesel also cleans out the engine from all the goop of petroleum build up from diesel. It is a great additive to any diesel car even if you can't run 100% biodiesel with your car. You can't run biodiesel with a regular gasoline engine. You will need a car with a diesel engine otherwise you will ruin your car! When you support biodiesel you are SUPPORTING local businesses to produce it. It is a win-win situation. It saves money, protect the environment, help end the war in the Middle East, and help boost the local economy. Ran back out to my car real quick to lock it and when I came back inside there was no one there. I looked around and called out and nothing. Finally I went out to the other side of the station and see a woman tying up garbage. I said "Hey hun are you the only one here?" And she said "Yes. I'm the only one here" in a tone that clearly insinuated she was not ok with that. I said (tying to be polite and kind and understanding) "OK well I have a Gatorade in here I need to pay for when you're done." I walked back inside and pondered why she was tying up garbage when the store was still open and also of how easy it would be for someone to you know.... Take things. I would never do that. I'm quite the opposite. Quite paranoid about things getting stolen so it was a mystery to me how unsafe she was being. Anyway.... Not my circus not my elephant ya know? I waited, honestly, just too long. She was in no hurry to sell anything to me and I was just about to leave when she was walking in so I waited for her to get situated and then she looked at me and goes "Yeah?" And I was like...... "umm what?" With my big pink Gatorade sitting right between us. And she's goes "What did you want" with the same previous insinuation which now clearly said "fuck I don't want to be here, I don't care about this job and I don't like people." Two years ago (in 2007), Houston was on it's way to becoming a gigantic bayou. The entire city. It rained for roughly 83% of the year. Flooding everywhere. Many of those days, it was as if a gigantic water hose (and/or a few fire hoses and buckets mixed in for variety) was turned on full blast and directed at us. On one such day, I and apparently half of Houston thought it wise to leave work early to avoid potential rerouting due to high water. Perfect. Traffic stopped in flooded streets. I decided to stop in at my convenience store/gas station to grab an orange juice before continuing my adventure home. I smartly thought, "I don't want to get my purse wet, I'll just leave it here." I grabbed my wallet and as I stepped into the store, remembered that I shouldn't have put my keys in my purse. I called AAA, but as it was 5:15pm on a Tuesday in a city that was rapidly turning into an extremely large bayou, the wait time was roughly three hours. Thankfully one of the owners was on the ball. While I was on the phone with AAA, he began fashioning a Slim Jim out of a wire hanger. After about five or ten minutes in the rain, he had unlocked my car.
