Mullingar Arts Centre, Student Players presents: Tennessee William's "A Streetcar Named Desire" In one word "WOW" ! These young actors and actress's fully embraced their characters. Emily Shaw played Blanche Dubois, her southern accent and sweet southern belle charm was spot on. Tiarnan Foy played Stanley Kowalski, his bad boy rendition of the character and his northeastern accent was perfect. Ella McDermott played Stella Kowalski, the facial expressions and emotions of this young actress showed true for a young married woman of that time. The entire cast was very talented , with an awesome future in the theater ahead of them . It was a joy to see a famous Tennessee Williams play in Mullingar, Ireland.
