We hired Christopher Mullikin to survey our property in Homer for future building opportunities. Our property is approximately 2 acres with a creek and some less than accessible areas. We wanted to understand rules and regulations to ensure we build within legal limits of our property boundaries and to keep from encroaching on easements, rights of way and neighboring property lines.
Christopher showed up within 2-3 weeks of being called and was an absolute font of information. He was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable, personable, and didn't balk at crossing a creek, maneuvering through wetlands and wading through thick trees and alders. Upon completion of the job, he walked us along all property boundaries and clarified rules and regulations of building restrictions reference property boundaries, rights of way and easements. Before he came, we were fairly ignorant on how this all worked and by the time he left, we felt we had a clear idea of what was expected of us when looking to build additional structures on our property.
He was very efficient, thorough, reasonably priced and made sure we had a good understanding of how to legally build on our property. We even called after the survey with additional questions and he took the time to answer every question we had after the fact.
